I do not find ESO combat that bad, outside of Bar Switching, which did take me some time to get used to.
Sadly this is probably the reason we will never see it.
I’ve played this game a long time. I’ve played every single “WoW Killer” and a handful of other MMOs…
ESO has by far the worst combat out of any MMO I have ever played.
If they ever add housing, please don’t make it mandatory for game advancement.

Well, seeing how that’s opinion based that’s great it sucked for you, though I found it ok.
The only thing I found (speaking for myself) atrocious about ESO was the pvp.

Did someone mention the garrison yet? Did they make that false equivalence yet again? Do I get to drink everytime someone responds with that? I may suffer alcohol poisoning

I played UO which makes me both love player housing and hate housing sprawl.

That Always gets thrown around as the equivalence, but just think it may not be player housing in the sense some people mean but it does give players a place to go hang out for some alone time.
Oh god, they want to turn Azeroth into LA? Wonder if they will add an earthquake and smog weather effect.

I rather have guild halls. If they are gonna pour dev time into a “housing” feature at least make it a community type thing. I fear blizzard’s idea of housing would be a garrison…

I actually agree. The combat is boring. It’s incredibly simplified compared to WoW. The game itself is bland and laggy. I think the worst aspect about the game in general is the level scaling, and how it punishes you for leveling up. Just an awful design idea.
Why tho…
time for player housing was long time ago. It’s too late now. And would probably require from blizzard to rebuild half of the game to give you ability to place items in order you would like.
And also add millions of items to use for housing. Easier to make new game at this point
And i also don’t think blizzard would want to give players any freedom of expression, people will paint words out of items.

So much they could do with this. Have some recipes for each profession for cosmetic items for starters. Then they could award cosmetics for certain achievements. Also they could have more gold pulls in the game for fancy furniture. While I can’t stand the thing myself I am sure they could put some stuff in Blizzard store and people would buy it up as well.
People can repeat that garbage as much as they like but they still weren’t player housing.

Look at FF14 and then tell me Garrisons are player housing. Player housing is a lot of fun if you have the gold.
