It takes gold to do anything in this game. As a warlock, I have spent about 7-9 gold in training so far at 24. And if you don’t go tailoring, you just have to hope bags drop or buy them at a vendor. Obviously you’re not thinking clearly.

Not from my experience in classic. I healed multiple bwl’s after my guild stopped running it during aq, not for gear just for fun and to try and get some extra gold for upcoming naxx consumes. I seen everything from Priests buying dft for 10k just to flex on rogues to people dropping 60k in a single run on gear. No one had that much gold during bwl without swiping.
My point still stands. Enjoy your game.

Not worth permitting any number of market exploits by people whose literal means of feeding themselves is to provide for some lazy Western whales.
Even still we have to already deal with spam about boosting and gold sales and it’s like… day 4 of fresh.
So, if the Chinese gold farmers have the patience and willingness to invest a month before/after this one, so too can you. Like, you legitimately have not and will not miss anything except the ability to trade… for a month… for a month you can be separate from the economy and still do just fine and progress without issue.
It’s not that big of an ask when by the end of that month, you’ll likely not be able to participate in the economy anyway due to saturation by Gold Farmer Bots.

The implementation is a joke and there are far better ways they could have achieved the same result without also destroying the experience for new/returning players. This was the entire premise of the post. Everything else is quite frankly irrelevant.

People stating how this supposedly doesn’t have a big impact need to stay in their lane.
Not being able to buy from the AH or trade things to people or buy things from people via trades for 30 days. OR EVEN SEND ITEMS TO YOUR OWN BANK ALTS FOR INVENTORY MANAGEMENT is a huge deal. If it’s not for you great but for me and a vast majority of the player base it is game breaking.
Just to add another reason I quit was cause there was no official stance on classic era clones when TBC gets released and that also is a deal breaker and not something I am willing to gamble on by vesting my time on Chars that may or may not be forced into TBC as I have no desire to progress these characters past classic

There was zero reason to announce that any expansion wouldn’t be coming after classic because blizzard themselves, for literally 15 years, had the “you think you do but you dont” mindset with classic. They truely did not think classic wow would succeed and thus only announced vanilla.
They even said it at wod’s blizzcon. It took 2 of the biggest vanilla private servers ever to get it through to them that we didn’t just want the current expansion. You can think Nostalrius in particular for why we have had ANYTHING other than the current expansion now.
However, this time they did announce it directly ahead of time. You want a fresh vanilla server that wont automatically go to tbc?
Then play hardcore. Otherwise play era. Thats your options

As of today Blizzard and community manager Kaivax are actively closing threads and suspending players who speak out against these restrictions. On top of that we have the endless herd of donkeys that come to these threads attempting to argue with us, tell us to quit, tell us to shut up and endure the unjust 30 day punishment, I implore you to simply ignore the donkeys and report them for trolling.
Blizzard could have made the limitations on accounts much more bearable for new players.
- Allow for small transaction trades
- Allow for small transaction Auction House sales
Not allowing your players to trade or use the auction house or send mail between their own characters for 30 days is unacceptable and quite frankly fraudulent business, I and many feel robbed by Blizzard.

Posted before but the block of mail between characters on the same account has to be a mistake because otherwise it could have only been done out of ignorance or worse spite.
Just waiting for Blizzard to give me a reason to do a charge back.

to deny this as an issue just because you aren’t affected is asinine. You would be mad if your fresh WoW experience had these restrictions in place. Trading things you find in the world to players is literally half the appeal of the game…

Blizzard clearly advertised a full product to all new players. After we purchased we received half the product, which is unplayable for many. This is a fraudulent business practice. Blizzard is going to fix this, or pay for it one way or another.
