I didn’t say they were wrong. I said they were irrelevant. They can continue doing what they wish. It makes no difference to us. But they better not try imposing their usage on us.

As i’ve said sooooooo many times - you’d be amazed at the dozens of people alive and on the internet that think Losing a battle is called Loosing a battle — Win/Lose — not Win/Loose like pants being loose

I’m not usually the type to hop on the “back in my day” train, but as a 90s kid I remember being proud of a hardcover dictionary I had been gifted… I wonder if that’s an experience that younger generations have, or if not what the equivalent experience is.
I think that there might be, bare with me a bit, an app for that.
But I do have a big hardcover dictionary around here somewhere.
You are incorrect. They are NEVER interchangeable, in either flavour of English.

While we’re at it, then and than are two entirely different words too. They are not interchangeable.
Also, it’s not a typo if you interchange them or use them incorrectly. It’s a lack of knowledge.

Careful, you could confuse people with that way of spelling Flavour. Careful not to use Colour, Armour or any other words of that sort.
Yes, we Americans are weird in our ways of English when we remove the letter u from specific words because of someone’s idea that American English should be different than English English.

I used that spelling on purpose, even though I’m American by birth and Canadian through naturalisation.
We’ll get to this important issue in time, but for right now we must purge every usage of “rouge” to denote a member of a certain class!
