Northern Wisconsin?
yes.
milwaukee softies need not apply.
We get similar weather just to the east of you, but the lakes are finicky. Sometimes they break up the storms, sometimes they make it worse.
I live in that sweet spot in the center of Michigan that is spared quite a bit from more than 12 inches in a single snowfall (maybe once a year), but the temperature can often turn the weather into an ice storm which are paralyzing.
I love winter though, Iām a sweaty mess when the temperature starts to go above 50. Lol
i love hot weather. i think i scared the blood elf away with my snow.
I work in a greenhouse all summer, when fall hits, relief sets in. I prefer the summer for everything but the temperature, my plants certainly love it though. 85 degree days here, with the wretched humidity might as well be 100 outside.
However, music festivals are in the summer soā¦
I have .Lived in plenty of massive snow and blizzards states. Iād still rather have that than a broken foot right now honestly.
Ever have a broken foot??? 20 plus feet of snow doesnāt feel like your foot breaking.
Rain, so much rain today. We need it though so it is really a good thing honestly. I am sure the acquifers are still recharging after the fall drought. We are supposed to get a Wed/Thursday storm and they were promising me over a foot! Looks like it will mostly miss me again.
So, the only fun I get today is a wind storm with 50-60 mph winds. Just a front going through.
While I want to play some WoW or D4 today, I will probably spend most of it working on house renovations IRL. Re-doing a lot of the upstairs bath in an 1947 house and the current project is the linen closet. Plastering, caulking, sanding, priming, painting, and probably a patterned waterproof removeable wall paper on the back wall!
Stay safe everyone and enjoy the snow if you have it!
/Sets out giant pitchers of cocoa, cups, marshmallows, whipped cream, and others toppings
Edit - my worst snow winter was a pair of back to back 2ā snow storms two days apart. Four feet of snow in a couple of days was a lot. I had to shovel the metal roof over the deck!
I did, now itās freaking cold. -15 forcasted for tomorrow, windchill will be horrible.
We did get snow, but itās changed into rain, and weāve been getting rain nonstop for days now.
Thereās been flood and evacuations too, but I live on an enormous hill next to a valley, so Iām fine lol.
We had a really cold night on Tuesday. It knocked out our internet. Here it is Sunday and still no internet
A great sudden snow storm yesterday but back to the 30s again today.
Doesnāt look like internet is going to be fixed till Tuesday at the earliest. No techs on the weekends and the holiday tomorrow.
did you get paid days off at work
Whaaaaaaat? Snow in the winter? Never heard of that before
update us op did it snow
Well, if they live in the Northeast everything where I live is currently coated with a thin layer of slush and ice.
Gotta love slipping and sliding just walking out to your car.
Moved to Florida from a Legit Mountain in Utah and it was 8F when I left. I THOUGHT id never have to shovel snow again. Just after moving here this happenedā¦
From what Iām seeing, a large portion of the US (at least the northeastern region/east coast) is going to be getting south-southeastern winds for much of next week, with wind speeds expected to go into the 15-30mph range (with gusts up to 50mph) for parts of it. Iām not sure how far the expected snow is going to reach, but itās definitely going to get chilly for some of us for a bit.
Honestly, Iām all for it. Anything to push back the start of springtime pollen.
absolutely not.
damn. thats cold
Had one snowfall this winter, it was pretty mild. Now back to our regular broadcast of rain all day every day.
Which, I donāt mind. I like the rain.
