Void Elf: Void elves (or ren’dorei, “children of the Void” in Thalassian) are a race of Void-infused elves affiliated with the Alliance. Their origins lie with a group of blood elves led by Magister Umbric who were exiled from Silvermoon City because of their research into the Void.

That is not a Void Elf. She is still a Blood Elf.
I was making some home made sheppards pie last night. But ended up getting distracted watching the evening news, that my smoke alarm went off. I burnt my food last night.
You mean a boss that has absolutely no background info or history to her?
The ones using manaforges to extract magic from the Nether, a plane that is a space of various chaotic energies?
Again, back then the Void as we know it nowadays, was not a thing. It was called Shadow magic and the Void lords were simply a mutation of an Ethereal.
Anyway, I have to go eat my semi-burnt dinner, but you keep going with your headcanons.
I see a lot of hatred and animosity in this thread.
Please remember that WoW is ultimately just a video game, a method to relax and have fun. No it isn’t perfect, and I would have done things differently with the Void Elves myself, but unless Blizzard goes back and changes things this is where we are right now.
Do your best not to spread bitterness to others just because someone else likes something you don’t. Be better than those people who only feel good about themselves when they put others down.
We all play WoW because we enjoy it. We’re all friends here.
Oh boy this is where I stop taking you seriously, that is incorrect on so many levels. And if you paid attention even a little bit you would have seen that I said that Void Elves were HINTED at as far back as TBC, I never said they EXISTED.
On a last note. I’ll never understand why anyone would follow someone that ignored her duty as protector of Quel’thalas, much less why Lor’themar called her a “hero” to begin with.
I mean, did you see what Blizzard did to Kael’thas? Blizzard hasn’t exactly respected their own lore for a very long time. Void elves exist because Blizzard wanted to find a way to give Belfs to the Alliance.
Void Elves were not even hinted back in TBC. There has been no inclusion or hints of Void Elves even existing until they were released as an AR at the end of Legion in patch 7.3.5
