I think there are still plenty of good guilds out there. I’m fortunate enough to be a part of a larger gaming community that is involved in many different games. Being older gamers, we at least have something in common, but some are more social than others. Some prefer Discord, some prefer guild chat, and some prefer to be quiet. Some raid (there are a couple of raid teams), some M+, some just solo. To each their own. We don’t do drama, so if you’re ignoring someone out of spite, there’s a larger problem, but if you don’t get a reply in guild chat it’s because no one knew or no one that was comfortable talking noticed.
If you want something out of a guild, you just need to find a good fit for you.
