It’s official, TWW is a banger

It’s fun if your a person that loves alts, if you only play 1 character it’s pretty shallow imo.

There are a couple of things they can improved on like for example the Awakened Machine feels that can be much more, right now it feels the same old same old because is the same wave every time, every day" so the only time most people go there is only once a week to complete the weekly?

God I miss archaeology. I’d do it just for fun with no real goal in mind, just flying around those old areas and getting to read little fluff text about ancient Troll rituals or whatever.

I really wish they’d bring it back. Blizzard had such a passion for developing the world’s lore around Cata and I’ve always loved it. They’ve got such a cool and deep world and I wish it got utilized more.

Plus I think having some guys on the writing team have to come up with the ancient history of like… minor factions just leads to good writing on the whole. Everything has to click together.

I had a blast with arch when it first launched, trying for epics and mounts. They pretty much made it worse and worse each xpac, until they just removed it.

Arch would fit so well with delves too…

How I feel about City of Threads. It feels like it’s been designed as this big end game area where you might spend a lot of your time but then you get there and there’s just… not much to do…?

I can’t believe they didn’t disable sky riding around it. They’ve got this whole intricate system with guard detection and items to counteract it and it’s just entirely null and void because they figured (rightfully so, probably) that people would moan up a storm if they couldn’t instantly zoom around at 700% speed all the time.

Builds and spec viability are way, way, more flexible than you think. The average player is not anywhere near perfect play, so even if there’s a theoretical difference of like 10% it probably boils down to an actual difference of like… 5% output. And honestly if anyone is letting guides run their video game experience for 5% output and not getting paid for it I think they’re doing yourself a disservice.

More people should just play what’s fun and looks cool. The community would be happier for it.

Tell that to the pilot of your next flight (anywhere in the world).

While it’s great that some people enjoy TWW, there are definitely many who don’t share that sentiment. =/

I give WoW a 4/10 now.

And I would say TWW is the worst expansion theyve ever released. It feels like shadowlands 3.0.

Overall I have been enjoying it a lot more than i anticipated being a lot of features are not relevant to me (not an alt user)

A slimmed down launch , and a lot of snake oil salesmen just to get you coming back.
Then they’ll be like ‘‘but you wanted us to show we are focused on the lore… stats show us you don’t want longer campaigns’’ blah blah blah.

Hype in terms of content was non existent. This arc was sold like a marvel movie instead of a game.

What aren’t you liking about it so far? Genuinely curious as someone who is fairly middle of the fence on it

Why is that?

I dont think the combat feels very good. Mostly because of random procs.

And it feels like they have about 8 hours worth of content that they are stretching and timegatting.

Should the expansion be called The War Within or The War With Caps?

:joy:

Because Science! xD

Good that you feel that way; I don’t.
I don’t like TWW, I don’t like the story, I don’t like most characters.
I like warbands and the loot-warband function as well as account-wide rep; rest is … boring, bland, bad, insulting or all four.

I didn’t play from MoP-S3 of DF and have heard SL and WoD were trash. In my experience (yes it’s limited) how is TWW a 3.0 SL? Genuinely curious about your thoughts. I’d say TWW is pretty good so far. Just don’t like how Blizz disrespected RDrood

That’s cool you like it man, i’m on the other side of the fence. It’s just not fun.
