It’s official, TWW is a banger

You mean the American Stanley Kubrick film :upside_down_face:

:innocent::grin:

I don’t like it much but I enjoy Delves at least. I think the game is light years from the awesome game it once was and is partly that way because the devs are playing it too safe and cute with the story and design. But it’s better than DF at least.

In the least this game needs massive attention to the pvp to keep it fun, and some of its other facets like Brawlers Guild and Pet Battles maybe. Sadly Blizzard is very very very slow with this stuff and it’ll take probably until next year until the game is in the state I believe it should be in personally.

I’m just one dude tho maybe everyone else loves it, shrug.

I give it spot #4/5 maybe out of all expansions so far, so middlish but better. I also cannot stand all the cash shop cashing in of the playerbase.

Didn’t they promise to bring Brawler’s Guild back years ago? Where is Brawler’s and what the hell happened to Archaeology? And what was the point of removing Strands? Blizz is frustrating…

Brawlers they said they probably want to bring back I think but can’t remember much about that or when they will. And archaeology they aren’t sure how they want to reintroduce it in some aspect, but it won’t be like it was before. I think they abandoned completely the profession as it was as a fun side thing.

Clearly this was a typo because they did bring back the Overcrawlers. I am constantly getting told I am one.

I don’t know what this means Fairlight you got me.

OHHHH we’re the overcrawlers is what the spider people say right? Nvm.

(The spidey folk refer to Player Characters as “overcrawler”. It was a…pretty weak attempt to correlate brawler with crawler and further diluted with the prefix over )

Ha! And you’re supposed to be the blonde here… guess I’m the big ol’ dumb one. lol

Funny thing about that. Along about 1965, when the schedule and budget were looking pretty hairy, they did reach out to Kubrick to see what he could do.

Kubrick, being Kubrick, insisted on location shoots.

It ended up being cheaper and faster to just do the damned thing instead of hiring Kubrick to fake it. But don’t feel too bad for old Stan, he put a pretty good flick together out of the test footage.

Just a shame he didn’t want to shoot 2001 in orbit around Jupiter and Europa

I’m still outta likes…

Only expansion I have no lifed since Cata a decade ago

Yeah I’ll never understand it but people tend to use these overexaggerated words "LOVE, BANGER, EXCITED’’ then when you ask them, they basically aren’t excited, loving or any of those big terms but just are … looking forward to it… enjoying themselves… etc…

How dare you accuse me of being hyperbolic! I’m never like that!

I remember being so confused as a kid when the novel and movie ended up at different planets. Later I learned that he just wasn’t satisfied with the Saturn scenes. Douglas Trumbull would recycle that work into Silent Running a few years later.

I really should read the book. My wife’s been voraciously reading and so has my daughter and my brain is slowly atrophying away…

All four are available on Kindle. Good stuff for the most part.

i thought all dks played the breath build. at least thats what i read

Take my like :blue_heart:
