I gotta hand it to these devs, their tactics to manipulate my brain and get me mad enough to switch to TWW worked. Their little sly Xalatath inclusions in the SOD story that tied in with DF… Those little things were interesting but my god I knew even then what was happening. “Come to the dark side, we have cookies” Xalatath whispered.

Playing shamelessly with a couple old sod guild members has been a nice breath of fresh air. Am I still always going to be salty and have my reserved opinions about this company? Absolutely. But at least I’m not twiddling my thumbs and questioning my life in season of trash.

i should be a retail player but just finding it hard to enjoy leveling process after coming back off and on. got the new expac and boost and all that. should be retail player due to QoL for me but still enjoy the aspect of OG mmorpgs and what they offer especially with slower leveling.

Are you sure you want to try retail. There is a large skill gap requirement to be good on retail in comparison to classic wow.
You are having a free bis pinnata on sod, are you sure you won’t miss it ?

when I first came back to retail the default UI size felt actually tiny :sob: :sob: :sob:
SoD is like the boomer jitterbug phone version of WoW, def takes re-adjusting after maining SoD

Ill never play retail… the level scalling completely killed the RPG aspect of the game its now the equivalent of a moba
