Free ilvl for alts to get into Season 3 LFR easily in content I already do. Nice.
we cant come up with NEW content so we are going to re-do old content and make it look new and just more challenging is all they are saying. Id prefer NEW content not re-used OLD content.
From what I see so far, it looks like the base belt has no secondary stats, until you unlock them by leveling up the console.
So for some folks, it might actually be a downgrade until you fill out the ability tree.
Am I correct in thinking if I never do that quest chain I’ll not be bothered by the whole D+ nonsense?
Article says that there will be stats though, or is my brain not braining?
Wearing this belt alone provides additional stat bonuses along with a Prismatic Slot. In addition, there are Miniature Titan Discs that can be added to the belt which are found at the end of select Delves.
If you look at the base item description on Wowhead, it only has stamina and primary stat, plus a prismatic slot.
You have to get to the fifth row of the tree before you get a secondary stat. (which appears to be mastery)
Upgrading the belt gonna be like slotting in my PS1 memory cards.
Anyway, this seems fun! As MM I’m basically hard locked into taking the +Crit belt but y’know, I like it! Seems like a great challenge, not timelocking the overcharged buffs is pretty huge as we now have something to push for immediately, as opposed to just sitting on our hands for weeks at a time.
I’m excited to go through these delves.
Oh. Now I understand. Thanks for the clarification.
Bonuses from the Overcharged Titan Console have no relation to the obtained DISC belt. The former is only active in Delves. The latter can be used anywhere.
At first glance, it looks like another version of Cyrce’s circlet. No secondaries; relying on the special ability proc chances.
The main thing it has going for it is the item level; if the primary stat bonus is high enough, it MIGHT make up for no secondaries, but there’s no way to tell at this time.
A lot of people across various content types have likely hit or are close to being maxed for whatever content they do.
They really should have challenge mode content once you’re fully geared besides pushing M+ so there’s something to do in the game after you gear instead of trying to make the gearing process take longer. I don’t know if these delves are intended to be that or if fully geared players will just annihilate them.
Damn it, I like the mount.
Hopefully this isn’t too much of a slog to work through, but it doesn’t seem too onerous. And delves are… “okay” as content, tolerable if not done too often.
Two questions:
- There’s no indication on this being a temporary event or not. Will this be sticking around? It’d be useful if it were more-or-less permanent, so I could chip away at getting the mount at my leisure.
- It says “bountiful delves”, so I presume this is for Tier 4 and up. Is that correct? I have no issues clearing up to a Tier 8 (and to be honest, I simply haven’t bothered to try higher), but I’m not interested in making them “harder”; I wouldn’t mind turning down the difficulty just to coast through this. So is this for anything that qualifies as a “bountiful” delve, including as low as Tier 4?
Hoping OC doesn’t suck.
Also, just looked at the picture. I thought OC had its own difficulty selection?
Redditors would have a meltdown
The article states that the weekly quest related to Overcharged Delves will contain a champion piece of gear. But it didn’t have any info on what would be in the chests at the end of the O-Delves.
Agreed.
I was clearing these on the PTR in scaled down i658 gear on T11 as shadow priest so I don’t think other classes will have much trouble unless they’ve been scaled up since then.
On the PTR the belt didn’t have any stats except for the ones given by a disc, so that much has changed.
They did add stamina to it last time I was on PTR.
Anyone happen to know if the belt can be socketed with S.A.D?
No the belt already comes with its own socket built in when you receive it.
What I want to know is: what do we get for doing the overcharged delves other than this belt and a mount? Are the great vault rewards increased for overcharged delves? If there aren’t increased great vault rewards, what exactly is the point of overcharged delves?
Just to make us do more work and receive no extra pay in return?
As a Delver primarily, I’m excited about this. It’s something non-nerfy and I’m grateful.
The way I’m reading it is that the disc procs are universal while the talent tree is delve-specific.
