Nowhere does it explicitly say it, so I have to ask. These abilities are going to be usable outside of delves, right? No classic Blizz bait-and-switch here, where we find out this is just a poorly statted ilvl boost belt when not in a delve?
Good question the wording is vague on this and I’d like to know the answer.

Adding new challenges to delves is nice, but I have a bad feeling that the belt is going to make us feel like we’re doing Azerite Powers again. Eugh.
Hopefully I’m wrong on the latter.
The new challenges? They add mythic affixes and a timer.

My guess is that considering they linked the Wowhead listing for the item itself, it doesn’t specify anywhere that the effects of the belt are only active while in a Delve, but obviously always leave room for the opposite of what you’d expect I guess

hopefully the belt is bad i do not feel like wearing another piece of gear from the previous tier for the entirety of the next tier.
At least this first wave doesn’t include the two water Delves.
Man, that would kind of suck if the belt’s powers only worked in Delves… but I could see some Raiders and M+ loggers kind of happy they don’t feel compelled to farm Delves for a power boost.
I hope it doesn’t feel like Azerite Powers, as well. That was the primary reason I quit BFA. At least on paper, the belt is feeling more like the Siren ring, just that we don’t have to carry a bunch of gemstones in our bags if we want to swap powers.
Belt has stats, a prismatic slot, has extra powers and goes up to 699.
Are we going to only be able to do 1 power up a week?
From the article, what I’m understanding is that you can grind out all the powers in 1 week but the ilvl upgrade is timegated.
Of course. We had to have timegating somewhere, right?
