Isn't WoW basically about race wars?

Yes, why do you think races are limited to only one faction?

Too bad nobody plays video games to read books. All story should be included within.

Warcraft is about Wars and how to Craft them.

WoW is about buying tokens for rl money and using that gold to buy boosts…

You got it all wrong ^^

That’s only what tourists do. Real WoW OGs know that WoW is about fishing. Nat Pagle retired because we’re Nat Pagle now. You spend money to buy gold to pay for boosts to get gear you replace next expansion. I got my Underlight Angler for free and it’s just as effective today as it was in Legion.

We are not the same. You’re on a treadmill. I’m a living Legend.

Git gud.

Peppermint: “RACE?”

So its a race award? woooooooow

So…actions. The war is waged on the actions of another group

I am a vampire pirate. I don’t care about your race. I care about Raiding and pillaging. I care about my mates. I have mates of all races and creeds. The horde and alliance are both unjust hierarchies. I support pure anarchy! My title of “admiral” is honorary and doesn’t actually suggest a leadership position among my crew.

Vampirate !

To a degree, and this is not a problem. Anyone who reduces conflicts between fantasy races to nothing more than “ugly bigotry” is missing the point.

Distinctions and divisions between groups is an inevitable aspect of group dynamics as a concept, and group dynamics are an intrinsic part of existence. Sometimes this means conflict, and in the Warcraft universe these conflicts are not unjustified. There’s a long and complex web of history, grudges, complications and justifications to every event, and circumstances will naturally lead to more conflicts.

Fantasy is a self-contained, almost sacred space where these ideas can play out safely. It gives us the opportunity to understand how these things work on a deeper level without having to act them out in real life. If you can learn how to bring peace and harmony to Orcs and Draenei, then you should have no problem taking the lessons you learn from fantasy, and doing the same between humans.

To ask why we fight, is to ask why the leaves fall. It is in their nature…but perhaps there is a better question. Why do we fight? For friends; family…to maintain balance, and bring harmony. But for my kind, the true question is: ‘What is worth fighting for?’

One of my people got an Orc and a Human to team up out of sheer bewilderment. That’s as good a reason as any to fight!

Night Elves just want the Horde out of their porch. But they are too annoying to get the message.

If the game didn’t have the Horde has different species, but different human cultures, there’d be at least one storyline about how Warchief A from the horde married Princess B from the alliance, leading to peace between the two factions until Warchief A died and his son took over.

Where does.it say just “war” between alliance and horde? That’s how it started but “technically” we have had:

  • “War” against the Scourge
  • “War” against the Burning Legion
  • “War” against the Old Gods
  • “War” against Death
  • “War” against each other

So there has been plenty of “War” in "War"craft. There will probs be more “wars” against things like Light, Void, (insert unknown enemy here), etc.
