Considering how many of said characters have been Windrunners, I’m getting to be quite judgemental of Lireesa’s parenting skills.

I was wondering why his voice sounded familiar. It was either Yuri or Josh to me lol. All I really know Yuri from is Ben 10 as he voiced the titular character in Alien Force, Ultimate Alien and Omniverse.
Side note I still laugh that Yuri was the one who wrote the big “harem” episode in the final season of Omniverse. Still think Kai needed more screen time though.
Also, why does he look 40 in in the HQ cinematics but not in gameplay? Did they change their minds about him during development?

I would say it is more to do with the games graphics and the stylized look. I mean Liadrin looks younger in game than she does in the HD cinematics as well.
Maybe, but we know they can depict teenagers in the HD style. So if he’s supposed to be a teenager now, why not make him look like one?

Should have just given his role to one of Vareesa’s twins. Have them clash with mean old uncle Turalyon. They’re still half elves, so you still have the angst. Just of a more appropriate age for the story being told.
But Varessa seemed to have been a decent mother. Even raising her nephew like a son.

Whaaaaat? Come on, he’s totally Horde. He was practically raised by Lor’themar and Liadrin, after all! Such deep emotional bonds of trust and support. Why, he even lives in Silvermoon!
It’s not like… non-Horde are allowed into Silvermoon, even temporarily or anything… No, no. Arator is 100% Horde. Just look at that haircut. It screams, ‘Lok’tar Ogar!’ And he’s wearing red! He’s Horde, guys, come on…

Then some Dwarf wanders up to me asking to de-escalate the situation. Oh 100% I’ll feed all y’all to my plaguebat that’ll remove the tension right quick. The audacity for FOOD to talk to me like I value it’s opinion. Pfft.

It’s really strange because he fought in Legion, he was part of the Order hall. He worked under the Highlord.
He’s been through combat, seen terrible things the demons did. I dont know why they write him to be this inexperienced newbie. Its almost like they are trying to say, “No this is the first time you’ve ever met him. All that other stuff doesn’t count, it was someone named Barator.”

I get the character was a literal background “Who?” for over a decade but you can’t then pretend this grown man is now a rebellious teenager.
It just makes him come off as an embarrassing failson man child.

I’ve heard they’re kind of like that to almost everyone, oddly. There was a thread elsewhere on these forums where some NPCs have lines towards Tauren that are on the rude side.

Being aloof snobs is indeed on brand for the blood elves.
I can see them being racist toward Tauren. For the exact reason I’d probably not want a Tauren roommate IRL. Could be the most thoughtful, considerate minotaur on Earth but they’re still 8ft tall and weigh 876lbs. You somehow stepped on my St.Bernard and you destroyed my kitchen table by slightly leaning on it.
Please go somewhere else Anwe Moonmeadow. I love you but I cannot design for the payload that is you just standing on hardwood.
