Is WoW worth 15$ a month?

no - its not

thats why im not renewing my sub

they got me with the “mount sub” combo and im just waiting for the life to run out

Blizz used to care about their game and the direction its going in - not so much now - so why should i ?

When I find a game I like such as Dark Souls 3 or Bloodborne I’ll pour a few hundred hours into it because I enjoy it so much.

But fair enough. I see where you’re coming from if you only get the short games then you would need one every week or so.

In WOW’s current state, it is not worth $15 a month.

WOW is worth watching while on the sidelines to see if it gets better any time soon.

Currently not but maybe $5

I’m paying $4 a month so I think its fine

Anyone who actually purchased a 6 month sub for a boat mount likely isn’t quitting WoW any time soon.

Yes it is.

I don’t get much time to play (don’t even have pathfinder 1 yet, no time to even do lfr) and it’s worth the $19/m (canadian). If I spend 19 hours in game per month, that’s entertainment at $1/hour. Netflix gets used less, and I still pay it, and my Kindle Unlimited sub (about $14/m) still gets paid whether I read 1 or 15 books a month.

If it’s value to you, pay it. If it’s not, don’t pay it.

So long as you’re logging in regularly and enjoying your time, it’s worth it.

When I find that I haven’t logged on in a couple weeks and don’t want to log on, I just cancel my sub until the next time I get the itch to play.

No, its not.

Laziest class design ever seen in the history of WoW. Dev team publicly apologized for the state of multiple classes before launch, thats how bad it is.

Answered your own question =p

Actual worst designed gearing system in the history of the game. Total fail.

Also, you forgot to mention GCD changes, loss of tier sets and leggos with nothing to replace them, still no PvP vendors, and an ever worsening faction imbalance that threatens end game content for an entire sub section of the player base.

BFA deserves to be a financial flop so laziness like this isn’t reinforced.

Drama and probably “look at me syndrome”.

I think it depends on if bfa wow is for you.

I’m enjoying it and I find that my $15 is well spent. There are some out there who are not happy so yeah their $15 is probably a waste then.

Ignore isn’t the best word. More like discount whatever they are trying to claim because they lack the experience to make such a claim.

Well said!

Yeah, I know. But it’s no extra skin off my back if Blizzard is getting a little extra payout because some other player wants an immediate 117K+ gold now.

Purely subjective question. You can’t assign value to the amount of content or what it is ‘in’ the game.

Value for the spend is derived from the amount of entertainment you get from your $15.

You are not enjoying the game, thus not being entertained during your play time then it’s not worth it.

If someone plays 20 hours of pet battles a month and has a blast then it’s worth it.

Flagging peoples post is running pretty rampant lately even when they aren’t trolling or post that would trigger people.

As far as WoW being worth 15$ a month it depends on if you are still having fun in the game, if you aren’t then its probably not worth it an should unsub. If you are still having fun then 15$ is pretty cheap entertainment nowadays.

Yes, absolutely. 15 dollars is effectively the cost of a single meal where I live.
If you can’t find any satisfaction in an entire month of game play that you are questioning whether its less valuable than eating a single meal, then you just aren’t ever going to like the game.

You can even use that 1 month to grind a bunch of gold then not have to pay for a few months etc.

But ya, based on your first post it seems like a break is in order for sure.
Most of what you are describing isn’t any different this expansion compared to last, and isn’t going to change any time soon, so it would be more productive to ask yourself what you wanted from the game from the onset, or just take a break until your passion to play returns.

I would pay $17… WoW can shut up and take my money!

Not without flight.

I would not mind the $15.00 a month, but then to also have to pay for the xpans is a bit much. All xpans should be free if you have a sub. On the other hand just dropping $50.00 on an xpan and playing all you want is also pretty tempting. Activision is only interested in profit. What does a suit know about a game… nothing. At this rate they should just offer gear sets for $$$ That IS where this is going. Wow will be forced into a market of buying crap and micro-transactions just like SWTOR and that game is worse off than WOW.
