Is Valeera a traitor?

Well the Alteraci were once horde ‘friendly’ and had their kingdom destroyed because of it. It wouldn’t be a stretch for some clans of mountain men plus sindicate to go hoard if they were supported in reclaiming their homeland.

The Laughing Skull Clan and Grimtotam also allied with the Alliance at certain points.

The Mag’har Shadowmoon as well.

Was that in Beyond the Dark Portal, BC, or WoD?

That was in WoD.

She was a thief. Would it be better if she was in jail or dead? She is also not a blood elf. She made her choices. She is alliance now.

She totally is. Only alliance scyophants disagree which you are.

That’s like saying a Canadian who gets beaten up by the US mafia would logically cut ties with Canada because Canada is allied with the US.

Valeera is loyal to her people, the Blood Elven nation of Quel’thalas.
And the Wrynn family.

She is not loyal to the Horde or to the Alliance.

The US and Canada aren’t allied in the same way the warchief lead horde is, terrible comparison. Also you would have to say “if canadians were getting enslaved and being forced to fight as gladiators in the US”, trying to say she was just “beaten up” is downplaying what happened to her.

The wrynn family leads the alliance. That is literal textbook alignment. She is alliance loyal.

Not really.
She does not act on the Alliance’s orders, not even Anduin’s orders, if it is to hurt the Blood Elves. She will probably hurt the Horde on Anduin’s orders. At the same time, she will not assassinate Anduin on the Lor’themar’s orders, but she will probably hurt the Alliance in other ways.

Overall, I just think she tries to stay out of faction conflicts. But she has no love for the Alliance or the Horde. She has love for the Blood Elves and the Wrynn family.

At the end of the day, she was ready to duke it out against the other Alliance leaders, along with the other Horde leaders.

But key thing here is - Anduin was not one of the Alliance leaders present.

The Horde are the allies of the blood elves now. If she hurts them she hurts Quel’thalas. And she does act for Anduin. She was the one bringing him the letters from Baine.

Yes, she will do acts for Anduin.
As long as it does not involve hurting the Blood Elves directly.

The Horde can go f-itself for all she cares, as long as the Blood Elves are not harmed.

If the Alliance decides to invade Quel’thalas, she will defend Quel’thalas. If the Alliance invades Durotar, and the Blood Elves happen to feel obligated to help defend, she will not get in the way.

As far as she is concerned, neither the -Horde- or the -Alliance- have done anything for her.

As a matter of fact, as far as she is concerned, both the Horde AND the Alliance have hurt her.

Other than escaping from horde slavers, what has she done to hurt or hinder the horde?

Which is why Silvermoon should not trust her and deny her entry into the kingdom. The risk of vital military information being leaked is too high.

She would not leak Blood Elven military information.

Any source for that claim? She hasn’t interacted with the Horde since her introduction. Anduin and Varian were her main targets for lore and quests.

She interacted with the Horde in BFA, where she informed the Horde players about Horde meetings, likely at the behest of Lor’themar.

In Death Rising she commented, that she would not partake in the political posturing between the Horde and the Alliance, as she had friends on both sides. Aka, Blood Elves and Anduin Wrynn.

She get closer with Calia though, with whom she shared some kind of kinship, due to ‘being part of two worlds but never fully belonging to either’.

That said, she have also not partaken in any operation that threatened Horde military actions at the behest of the Alliance, nor have she done the reverse.

Okay, so you think that if a Canadian was enslaved and forced to fight as a gladiator by the US mafia, it would make sense for that person to cut ties with Canada?

Again, the horde under a warchief is much different from how the US and canada are allied. Also she didn’t cut ties with the blood elves, it makes sense an orphan would form a bond with the people who helped save her from slavery. Her friends and family are a priority in her life, like most people, not a racial group, the blood elves didn’t life a finger to help her.
