Yeah Cairne and Garrosh fought each other naked just cuz they’re kinky like that.
I love thrall and am hoping he gets a decent story line, I watched metzen interview and my only comment was dont you dare take out thrall have jaina instead
Firstly armor is allowed ? Although minimalist armor is always preferred but it is not a rule.
Cairne was in his traditional armor, with a massive rune spear and Garosh was in his traditional armor fitting for a warchief with a gorehowl.
Issuing the Challenge: Driven by his sense of duty to his people and the Horde, Cairne challenged Garrosh to a Mak’gora, the orcish tradition of single combat, to resolve their differences. The terms were agreed upon: they would fight to the death, with both warriors allowed to wear armor and use their weapons of choice. Garrosh, confident in his strength, accepted the challenge.
He is a sell out.
I think there’s a rule for weapons somewhere, something about can only be blessed by a shaman of your choice which is also how they said that Garrosh cheated vs Cairne because Magetha poisoned his weapon instead of blessing it. Probably can find more about this but expansion is launching and I’m gonna be off for a while from the forum xd good luck
He for sure doesn’t have horde interests top of his lists.
The king is weak and faltering. You don’t rebuild them up, you take advantage of that.
Not all wars are on the battlefield. A rival leader lacking confidence…you take that hole shot and just launch off that line strong.
Thrall didn’t care who he handed it to, he just want to get rid of the responsibility so he could go off and live an ‘ordinary’ life, and Garrosh was an easy target as a legacy and a strong personality who wouldn’t call him on his abandonment of his responsibility.
I consider him a selfish piece of who cares more about easy that stepping up.
I just played Remix and watching Garrosh tell him off and hand him his never got old.
Amazing.
I don’t think anything in that paragraph is actually true.
[Scene opens with dramatic music and a montage of Orgrimmar]
Host: “Tonight, on a special episode of Cheaters, we delve into the heart of Orgrimmar to uncover a tale of betrayal that threatens to shatter the very foundations of the Horde. Our investigation centers on Thrall, the former Warchief and one of the most respected leaders in Azeroth. But has the weight of leadership pushed him into the arms of another? Join us as we uncover the truth.”
[Cut to Host standing in front of Grommash Hold]
Host: “Thrall, the former Warchief of the Horde, has always been seen as a figure of honor and integrity. But recently, whispers have spread through the streets of Orgrimmar, hinting at a secret that could destroy his reputation—and his marriage. Our client, Aggra, a strong and proud Mag’har orc, has noticed Thrall’s distant behavior and late-night disappearances. Fearing the worst, she contacted us to uncover the truth.”
[Cut to footage of the Cheaters Investigative Team tailing Thrall]
Investigator: “We’ve been following Thrall for several days now. He’s been seen leaving Orgrimmar late at night, heading towards the desolate plains of Durotar. Our suspicions were raised when he met with an unidentified female near the shores of the Southfury River.”
[Grainy footage shows Thrall meeting a mysterious female orc]
Investigator: “We enhanced the footage, and it appears that the female is not Aggra, but another orc—possibly a rogue from one of the outlying clans. The two seem to share a moment of deep conversation before parting ways.”
[Cut to the Host sitting with Aggra in a dimly lit room]
Host: “Aggra, thank you for sitting down with us. We know this is difficult. Can you tell us why you reached out to Cheaters?”
Aggra: (Voice trembling with controlled anger) “Thrall has always been a warrior, but lately, he’s been distant. He used to confide in me, but now… it feels like there’s something—someone—else occupying his thoughts. I need to know if my suspicions are true.”
[Cut to more surveillance footage showing Thrall and the mysterious female orc meeting again, this time in a secluded cave]
Investigator: “They’ve met multiple times now, always in isolated locations. We believe this is more than just a casual acquaintance.”
[Back to the Host with Aggra]
Host: “Aggra, our investigation has uncovered some disturbing evidence. Are you ready to confront Thrall and find out the truth?”
Aggra: (Nods, visibly steeling herself) “Yes. I need to know.”
[Cut to the confrontation scene. Thrall is seen leaving Grommash Hold, walking towards the outskirts of the city. The Host, Aggra, and the Cheaters crew ambush him.]
Host: “Thrall, we’re with Cheaters, and we have reason to believe you’re involved in a secret relationship. Aggra has something to say to you.”
Aggra: (Tears welling up in her eyes) “Thrall, why? Why have you been meeting with her? What happened to us?”
Thrall: (Caught off guard, tries to stay calm) “Aggra, it’s not what it looks like. She’s not… I would never betray you like that.”
Host: “Then explain these meetings, Thrall. We’ve seen you with another female orc. What exactly is going on?”
Thrall: (Sighs heavily) “The orc you’ve seen is Garona. We’ve been working together in secret on a mission—something that could endanger the Horde if it became public knowledge. I kept it from you to protect you and our family.”
Aggra: (Skeptical) “But why keep it a secret from me? We’ve always faced dangers together.”
Thrall: “I didn’t want to burden you with this. After everything we’ve been through, I thought it was my responsibility to handle it. But I see now that I was wrong to keep it from you.”
[Cut to a reflective scene with the Host summarizing the situation]
Host: “In the end, it appears Thrall’s actions, while suspicious, were driven by a sense of duty rather than betrayal. But his secrecy almost cost him his marriage. Thrall and Aggra are now working to rebuild the trust that was shaken, and Thrall has vowed to never keep such secrets again.”
[Final shot of Thrall and Aggra walking away together, hand in hand, as the screen fades to black]
Host: “Join us next time on Cheaters, where we continue to uncover the truth behind Azeroth’s most shocking relationships.”
Same. I loved every bit of it when Garosh treated him like an ordinary peon and spoke to him like that.
Fair fight? So from your perspective Guldan had a fair fight with Durotan too.
The fact that so many people in this thread have given you actual proof and factual arguments and still you persist just proves that you are willfully ignorant of the facts of the matter and do not know what you are talking about. You are intellectually dishonest and just plain wrong.
" In a traditional Mak’gora, the challengers set the terms of the engagement. For example, in the case of Garrosh Hellscream and Cairne Bloodhoof, Cairne decided the rules were: each person may use only one weapon, blessed by a shaman of their choosing , and wear only a loin cloth."
And that was the rules set by carine and Garrosh. NOT anyone else or any other makgora. You really should read the things you link.
Absolutely nothing Garrosh said in that mak’gora was false.
Garrosh did nothing wrong.
And I simply stated that I remembered it was said somewhere.
Again read the things you quote. IT is a bad faith argument to just link things with out understanding what you are linking…
“In a traditional Mak’gora, the challengers set the terms of the engagement.”
weapon blessed by shaman and loincloth is the terms set for Carnie and Garrosh only. NO one else followed that or are those rules meant for any one else it was ONLY for Carnie and Garrosh.
Those are not rules for every Mak’gora. ONLY theirs.
Don’t be silly!
Of course you did.
There could not be any reason to start a thread about a well-worn subject widely known to be controversial other than to fan the flames even hotter. You’re not fooling anyone.
What is allowed and what is considered honorable is another thing. We don’t even know I think if there was specific rules for the duel between Garrosh and Thrall. The traditional way is still considered the one Cairne and Garrosh used. The winner no matter is the one that manage to survive, even when they cheated like the case of Garrosh vs Cairne.
You argue in bad faith and ignore facts. There is no point in speaking to you any longer.
Pretty sure we’re talking about facts here, and I understand the subject is divisive. good luck.
