To have 12 million subs you first have to sell 12 million copies. SL didn’t even come close to that. Someone needs to go back to grade school.

If shadowlands had 12 mil subs…even 8 mil subs…no, even 4 mil subs, blizzard would publicize that instantly.
I like Torghast because it is very fun seeing what kinds of overpowered combos I can create with the anima powers to clear it completely. Getting the powers feels like what gaining a level in game should feel like.

They stopped reporting numbers for corporate reasons, it has nothing to do with subscriber count. That’s why i’m saying it’s all speculation.

Yea…sure. they just so happened to stop reporting them when the numbers took a nose dive following one of the most hated changes of all time they tried to make. But yea…let’s just say it wasn’t because of sub numbers.
Maybe classic and SL combined are at 12 mill but I highly doubt SL alone has that many.
Again this is just speculation that the subscriber count is the reason, but as someone in the corporate world I can understand why they would do it for liability and shareholder reasons. It’s not always gloom and doom, there’s other logical reasons too.
