If you still pay and get right back on when servers go up, then I guess you’re accepting it.
This is why i only sub 30 days at a time now. I don’t get ripped off too bad if I can cancel the sub and wait for the game to function.
I’m just reminded that their direct competitor launched a patch on Tuesday and had none of the shenanigans of the content being broken in half and this has been the way for years. Say what you will about that game but at least there is QA/QC happening.
IS the new acceptable standard creating countless threads about bugs on every patch too ?
Aman’thul is now set as the raid boss
There is only one thing people can do is unsub, look what happened on SL, they took very low subs, forcing them switch their way to working on every expansion. They recover in DF and again become lazy on their work, they feel free to do whatever they want as long as they have decent subscriber numbers ¿Why they do this? Because players’ quality standard is so low, just look the amount of people complaining about the new patch, they know this and will act in consequence.
I was trying to be polite before but some staffer wanting to sweep this mess under the rug took it upon themself to remove my constructive post pointing out how blatantly obvious these devs poor quality work has noticeable become and what the causes could be, so now I’m no longer going to be nice.
DEVS NEED TO LEARN TO CODE AND FIX BUGS OR GET OUT! NEED MORE BUG SQUASHERS, HIRE MORE!
Not really. Plenty of live service games with smaller budgets don’t have this problem.
One of them was World of Warcraft up until the last 12 months. People pretending like its always been like this are just gaslighting themselves and trying to force everyone else to join their delusion.
Major patch days and expansion launches always had long maintenance and server instability. But it was very rare for minor patches to cause a myriad of game breaking bugs. Rarer still was EVERY single minor patch breaking the game and requiring daily extended maintenances for a week after implementation.
The quality is getting worse. If that doesn’t bother you, just say that. Don’t pretend like this is just how it always was.
