For pathfinder part 2, is it possible to do Najatar on one character, and mechagon on the other? to do the explore and rep grind? since pathfider is account bound will it count towards completion? or does it need to be done one to unlock for all?

Yes, it is account wide.
You could do the rep on one toon, other rep another, explore one on a 3rd, and explore the other on a 4th and get the achievement.

A new system is being added in Rise of Azshara called Mount Equipment. This is a single slot that you can put one of 4 different types of Mount Equipment. To accommodate this system, Water Strider mounts are losing their innate ability to walk on water.

This allows all your mounts to walk on water when equipped. If you need to buy more, you can buy them from the Anglers for the price of 50

Replace your Water Strider on your bars with your favorite mount, which can now walk on water.
Here are all the other types of Mount Equipment, or Water Walking mount equipment for those who do not own a Water Strider.
Saddlechute crafted by Tailoring; Equip in your mount equipment slot to install a emergency parachute that will deploy when dismounted high in the air.
Inflatable Mount Shoes Equip in your mount equipment slot to allow you to walk across water while mounted. Any damage will cancel the effect.
Comfortable Riderâs Barding crafted by Leatherworking; Equip in your mount equipment slot to prevent you from being dazed while mounted.
Light-Step Hoofplates crafted by Enchanting: Equip in your Mount Equipment slot to increase your mountâs ground speed by 20%. Does not stack with other mount speed effects.
Note: The Sky Golem will retain its unique perk to gather while mounted, but it cannot benefit from Mount Equipment.

I was bummed too. Just like I was bummed that I worked my tail off to get the Travelerâs Tundra on 5 different mounts and then they combined all mounts account wide. But I look at it this way, every change made canât make everyone happy, and at least this time theyâre acknowledging our work by giving us the a free water-walking mount equipment. So at least weâre not empty handed.
Yeah, Iâm starting to cool off a bit. I was upset at first. But I try to look on the bright side especially since thereâs no changing their minds.
The portal room seemed like a good idea but I was disappointed they had to take portals out to do it. But after using it Iâve come to realize their change was better in the long run.
They took away the water walking ability for unclear reasons, but they added equipment that adds it back, but to all mounts.
also they are giving those who had the water strider already the equipment for free in the mail when they log in.

Two weeks of something to do daily is better than the four months of logging in on two days to raid.
Works great if you have only got a couple characters and theyre all high level.
Ive got nigh on 60 characters after deleting a few and 90% of them are below 100âŚmeaning I have to pay for every single one of them to have WWing tomorrow when they all had it free yesterday because I did the grindâŚtwice.

Also, I kind of disagree in-general but only because I dislike the world content in modern WoW, outside of levelling the first time.
World quests are such a boring formula. WoW did it better in the past and ESO does it better now.
Not ashamed to admit that I do the bare minimum required world content for what I actually enjoyâmythic +.

Iâve been excited to have a reason to log in. I havenât played daily in several months now.
I donât bother with M+s, but Iâm in a guild that isnât real strict about pushing anyways.
I havenât even played all the regular dungeons because I canât stand dungeons.
Good news is, that yes pathfinder part 2 to unlock flight is in this patch.
Bad news is youâre going have grind rep about 3 weeks.
