I’m not gonna deny that. But I’d rank Mists just below Wrath as my favorite time in game overall. I don’t have anything bad to say about it other than the extended 13 month ending.
I agree, I actually think they will probably lose over half their remaining playerbase. I have played over 9 years and have only not played a few months of that but I suspect this year I will have double the off time than I had in all those years.
The difference is this is only mid way through this expansion. There probably will be almost a year left before Shadowlands.
Are you purposely spouting nonsense? This is the end of BfA. 8.3. Ny’alotha, invasions, Visions, the massive buff to the Heart of Azeroth, old world updates, alts, money, mount, mog, etc. farming…
And yes, I am equating that to now, because the amount of stuff to do is still plentiful. You’re just cherry-picking because of an innate BfA bias.
It’s not going to hold me over that is for sure. My sub is up in about 6 days so going to take a break because nothing screams get back into the game because I want it.
And unless they add an AR before Shadowlands I might not be back till just before launch. Really looking forward to the cosmetic changes in Shadowlands. Hoping they do something with the awful class design or I am probably gone for a good long while or possibly for good.
Lets see raid is so so not really fun . Rest of patch sucks way to many bugs , all ready been on unsub page one click away . Now theres 8 months of this not good
Not sure why you’re surprised, it’s basically the theme of this expansion. If anything the arathi/darkshore warfront should have shown you that they love recycling old content. Yet again they lean entirely on the art team. The content is miserable and bad.
The new raid is amazing. As someone said, wow is a raiding game. Always has been. Whether it needs to change its focus to suit the newer player base is a different discussion.
But the content now for myself as a raider is awesome. I do m+ for gear which is fun. I’m used to farming dungeons for upgrades. I do dailies to help me raid by way of gold, and reputation awards, and then I raid and kill big bosses with friends which is why I play this game.
I don’t remember them being fun. They were just a means to an end. At least now that they made M+, dungeons actually ARE fun, not just something to “spam.”
This is the main reason i’ve never been able to play wow for more than a month at a time. Why spend my time getting something that will be obsolete in the next patch?
