Is this a "Ninja?"

But in my case with the skull shield I would have used it not sold .

Do you roll need on all boe’s or do you allow your group to roll on upgrades?

I’m going to tell you a little secret, part of my enlightened self-interest is not worrying about loot. I don’t remember much loot drama over the past 15 years.

I would hope that you could at least comprehend that other players require loot to advance to higher progression.

I never intended to quote or reply to your post, it was intended to another. Sorry about that.

I don’t like to involve myself in drama either. I just don’t approve of it and expect more from those who have decided to spend time with each other as a team.

So, they should talk about loot with their group before the first pull instead of pretending everyone is already on the same page and then posting complaint threads when they find out they’re wrong.

I usually pass on expensive items if there is someone in the group that can use it. Hopefully one day I might get a nice gesture in return on something I can use that is boe. I’m an alchemist so I will be gunning for those recipes.

Sure, communication is important. I’m not trying to dictate what loot rules all groups use.

Respect your fellow players. They may be strangers but you shouldn’t treat them as disposable.

That’s all I really wanted to get across.

I wonder how you’ve decided “you’re the only one protecting your own interests” means “other people are disposable”.

Not how it works in my groups. We all passed on skull flame shield the other day because tank needed it and he wasn’t even Prot spec. We all had a great time and had no problem sharing in his happiness. Most groups I’m in are like this actually maybe I’m just lucky I dunno

Whenever a BoE drops in my groups we type “all need” then we all need.

That happens in some of my groups too but usually there is a pause before everyone needs and we have a short discussion about it. Never had a single argument yet.

If you want gold, the roll option is called “greed.” You can tell because the icon is… gold coins.

I don’t agree with the former. Groups work best when everyone supports each other’s interests.

I guess I got the wrong impression on the latter.

So, you think the randoms you’re pugging with CARE about you? Hint: they don’t. That doesn’t mean their enlightened self-interest means they’re going to try to screw you over. At the end of the day we’re all social creatures who have to live with ourselves.

It’s a need before greed courtesy unless something was previously said. It’s the same as if a BoE blue/epic drops. Does everyone need on it even though it’s a big upgrade?

As an enchanter, I and other enchanters in the group have the right to roll need before others, and if we have it already or it is not their profession, then greed. I would flip my desk if some guy need rolled on unholy/lifestealing/etc. when I still needed them.

This kind of thing is why I will only run full guild runs groups.

k, roll greed and then come to the forums crying about being the victim of a ninja because at least one of the other members in your group aren’t complete idiots and know the items worth.

Everyone in the group rolling need on items worth hundreds of gold prevents loot drama. It’s a different story when you’re in a guild run, but in a pug you’re just asking to get ninjad if you roll greed.

cool np, can you link your enchanting to show me that you have the skill to use the recipe real quick?

I build my own connections. There’s players I still talk and group with who I had met in different zones and dungeons throughout my leveling.

I feel like your cynicism may block you from these experiences.

Not to mention people could just keep a dummy recipe in their bags for any profession to pretend to learn it.

lol

You’re little Mister Assmptions today.
