Is there any point trying to get in touch with a GM for a raid reset issue?

See title. Basically, I was in a Kara PUG yesterday and decided to swap out my spriest for my lock after it became clear I’d be rolling against 3 people for mindblade (only thing I need  ) I left group but didn’t hearth out before switching over. We cleared yada yada yada when I log in to my spriest later that evening I see the “This group has cleared 11/11 bosses and you’ll be locked if you kill a boss” so I leave the instance and yet, it turns out, I’m still saved.

Yea I know I’m sounding very sweaty here but all I wanna know is a) is this all my fault or something a GM would possibly be able to fix and b) is it even possible to get in contact with a GM anymore lmao (the ticket system seems designed to point you to an existing support “article”)

I mean open a ticket and find out

I had something similar happen way back in classic with an Ony reset. I got saved erroneously and filed a ticket. The first GM who responded didnt seem to entirely grasp what happened amd told me Id have to wait until the next reset. I appealed and the “specialist GM” who replied next said they were able to confirm I wasnt present for any kills in the dungeon so they reset my lockout.

Long story short: Its possible but may depend on the GM. So you might as well try, especially since youve got a whole week to figure it out

you aren’t actually saved, its a phantom ID. Well unless you sat there and waited on the timer. If you make a raid group yourself and go back in the mobs should all be there

you are correct! i logged back in today and it was gone. sorry yall, lmao

Weird!

Happens in Mag too. If you are in a group and kill the channelers and then leave before the boss you will have a phantom raid ID but you can enter any others just fine.
