I never mentioned chattel slavery in my original post. I asked if peons were a slave caste, which is different. By bringing up “American style” (nonsense term) slavery out of nowhere you’re implicitly defending it and stating other forms of slavery to be more moral and fair. Otherwise you’d not bring it up out of nowhere.
Err I think Drahliana is doing the opposite of that here.
Either way, we are were not talking about which one is more “moral” I had only brought up that gladiatorial slavery might be worse on the grounds of it being more traumatizing. But she and myself (if its not clear, let me state it) both fully acknowledge any form of slavery is a horrible practice.
Anyway I had tried to keep it in game without bringing real world events into it.
