Now TO BE FAIR you can’t hit them with ground targeted AoE abilities, but if they are the main target they are available for “cleave” style abilities like Chain Lightning, Azure Strike, Avenger’s Shield, Splitting Ice, etc. The abilities won’t hit non-targetted explosives, but they will still cleave the rest of the pack making it “less bad” of a global to waste especially for something like Azure Strike as DEvoker which is mainly used to fish for Essence Bursts anyway (since it hits like a foam sword on its own).
