Heyo, just wondering if there is a way to see my total gold amount on my characters before clicking the purchase wow token button. Looks like the armory auction tab has been removed ? I would check that way but i can’t seem to locate it anymore.
You can open a ticket and ask billing for a day to consolidate your gold or to check there usualy leniante for this.

There are also some addons that can accomplish this without having to wait longer than it would take you to go through and manually add them all (ticket times being 24-48 hours and it would probably take a maximum of 30 minutes).
SimpleGold, TotalGold, GoldCounter, Altoholic, to name a few. Some may have dependencies, but I’m fairly sure Altoholic is standalone.
Presuming that your license isn’t currently out of time, just make sure you count the gold on a single realm and faction. It’ll only draw from characters on the realm when it needs to be funded, to my knowledge, and while I’ve only used a token from that screen once, I do recall it showing the total amount of gold on that realm before I confirmed the purchase.
