Is there a way to hide quests?

Blizzard has gone overboard with the amount of quests and it’s gotten on my nerves in a very bad way. I’m borderline not going to play this game anymore (yeah, I’m mental). I NEED to be able to hide the quests from the map and minimap, not just quests that I’ve completed on another character either, but just quests in general, my level. It can be an addon or other option. I’ve tried untoggling the local story quests from the map, but that doesn’t work. Please help me?

Just abandon them until you want to actually do them?

Should clean your map (if it still works):

Not sure you can hide the markers on the quest NPCs, that might be out of reach.

Don’t think the OP means the objectives tracked, I think they mean not seeing the ? or ! over NPCs at all.

All I care is to HIDE the ! on my map and minimap. I’ll find the quests when I want to. While they’re bombarding my map, I feel overly inclined to do them, but there are too many and it’s overwhelming me. I need to hide them.

And I believe mapcleaner will hide just about everything except the ! markers. Or I have to hide every quest individually based on the code. I just want to hide them all at once.

Shift Click or Abandon.
For the mini-map, use the built in filter. Uncheck low level quests.

I’ve not dug into it myself, but doesn’t the map now let us completely adjust what things we see on it now, including different quest types? I’m at work right now so I can’t try it.

There is supposedly an option to disable “Local Stories”, but it doesn’t seem to hide anything. I don’t think it’s working, and I don’t think Blizzard cares.
