Is there a way to enter the TW dungeons ALONE?

Simple as. Is there a way/method to enter the classic dungeons currently on TW without having to que for them. They are blasted through in 3 minutes in groups, and they are around solo difficulty while still earning XP.

Negative. The only way to enter a Timewalking version of a dungeon (without already being inside it) is to use the random dungeon queue.

If you want to earn XP while “soloing” a dungeon, that’s what follower dungeons are for.

love the thinly veiled anti warrior twink threat

Yes. Use your wow subaccounts (wow1, wow2, etc) to create 4 fake party members, queue together, Ta-Da! Solo that thing. The other accounts dont need subscriptions, get a character to level 15-20 each.

“How can I make this about me?”

It isn’t. I didn’t even know there was a whole thing about warrior twinks blaasting dungeons nor do I care. I enjoy soloing dungeons because I can take my time through them and enjoy the difficulty of them as a DK. It’s just a neat way to level for me

No. They only exist in Group Finder. Otherwise you get the current version when you enter.

That might work.

Here’s the procedure.

Grab your toon you want to take into the dungeon.

Start a group in the group finder.

Log out, and log in to an alt.

Go to group finder, and find your group and apply join the group.

Log out, go back to you main, and invite the alt.

Log out, go back to the alt and accept the invitation.

Rinse and repeat for the rest of group, then join group finder for a random TW.

It MIGHT work. I have not tried it. Should work, but don’t daly so that the alts don’t time out.

FYI you can have multiple WoW windows open simultaneously if they are different accounts. Its how I do Party Sync with myself or inviting a new alt into my personal guild. You just need to go through each window to hit accept to dungeon queue pop up then you can minimize the windows to reduce cpu usage a bit.

Can you even queue for group finder with a group member offline?

Yes. This is the way. I always have a couple extra non-paying pals available for summons and the like :slightly_smiling_face:

I think it could work if you are quick about it. To be faster, don’t log out, but have two wow clients open. Alternate logging IN on the inactive one. After you log into it the first time it will say “reconnect” rather than the normal login process, and it will simply log you in while disconnecting the other client. That method worked for the shadowmourne blood infusion for example.

Hop through and accept the queue on all of them.

Still seems a bit tedious though

Easiest would just be to use 4 starter accounts with your main. The advantage to that is you then have starters setup for if you opt to do the next Remix and want to use a low level to powerlevel a toon through the content. Starters are free so not like you’re paying anything for them. They just clutter up your Battle.Net UI drop down but most won’t even notice it if they stick to one type of server (retail, classic, PTR, etc).

Unlikely you can queue with toons from your own account (using 1 account) as one would log off before you can queue. Each toon would have to accept the queue and then to enter the dungeon to even get in which would mean you’d have to rotate between toons a minimum of 3 times to get into a TW dungeon “solo”. Once to join the group, once to accept the queue to begin with, and once to accept the queue to even get into the dungeon. Depending on how fast you can switch toons, the timer for the queue may actually end before you can even get through all 5 toons. Timer is 60 seconds if I recall. You’d have to be faster than 12 seconds per toon to manage it with a single account. One screw up and you’d have to start over from the queue part.

Alternatively, just get 4 other people to queue with you and agree to either go AFK or leave group once you get into the dungeon.

Would be interesting to see a choice to have solo TW dungeons for those that want the challenge of that. Personally, I used to love soloing old Deadmines, SM, Strat, etc. I really don’t care to run them via TW since the reward isn’t really worth it and I can just solo the current non-TW versions anyway, but at the same time, I can see why they’re queueable only.
