I understand there were some issues, with echoes farming and the fact that people could not sign up for it from certain zones. Either one of those do not warrant a complete removal of the game mode, however.
Is there any chance we can see a more detailed response on this subject?

Farming echoes would be too easy apparently. Still would take our time. We could do it on alts to help catch up their crappy essence system. I guess it was just making the game too much fun this week and would make it too easy for our alts and such to catch up before shadowlands.
