plz try pushing top 20 for any spec of your choice in M+ or joining a mythic raiding guild, the ability to cast more spells doesn’t have to do with anything other than blizzard moving away from classics simple and boring 1-button raid mechanics.

being skilled in SoD or classic in general isn’t a thing imo. It’s either you know how to play or not that’s it.

No one can beat grindpa. he won classic hands down. YouTube lord Kazzak does stormwind. They had to roll burning legion EU back 6 hours.
From the many hardcore videos I saw, I really doubt hardcore players are good, in fact they are as bad as 2004-2005 players but I’m sure there’s like 1% of them who are actually good.
I don’t think I’ll ever get to top 20 because that’s for people who play it as a job. Reguarding the amount of spells I can cast makes it so I don’t have to chose which heals to use I can cast any of them for the same result. I use to like being decisive on which heal to cast and when, so far in heroic dungeons I can spam ANY heal and the result is the same wether I cast prayer of healing or flash heal, now I wouldnt cast prayer of healing to just heal one person but so far it does not matter. I played a private server of wrath for a while and it was fun because I had to cast renew on the whole party, mending heal, and power word shield, now I just cast all that because of habit, but it’s not needed. I did a dungeon were alls I did was spam holy nova and it resulted the same. So I really hope I need to cast other heals as part of some sort of rotation. I’ll update you when I get to mythics, I really really hope I can’t just spam one heal the whole time… Ive healed with every class in wotlk and holy priest was my favorite because of the variety of different heals, hpala was the most boring with casting about 3 heals and using mitigation. Rdudu is also up there for me because I liked casting regrowth, rejuv, life bloom 3 stacks, and wild regrowth then norish when needed(the more hots the stronger it gets). Shammy is fun to heal with the chainz but also kinda boring. I have yet to try evoking heals b/c I want to build my priest 1st. Again I’ll update once I’m there but so far it’s so boring and I may not ever get there…
There is one area that I can give HC players.
you watch a normal RWF video and you see these impressive tactics and these perfectly timed moves. But you don’t see the hundred failures it took to learn those moves.
in HC … there are no practice pulls.

Prefoxfox is good to watch. He is mature, competent and plays a range of classes (Hunter, Warrior and Balance Druid lately).
Barbarian challenge can have help dumbass. Do your research.
It’s wow sod and were talking about perseverance like anything in the game is a crazy feat that you have to endure. Crazy

I (evadars) try to stream a salt of the earth approach. No hype, just soundscapes and boss kills/rare PvE stuff… Occasional out of bounds areas… Strange occurrences from blizzard ( One time got banned for a thousand years)
Only handouts I’ve ever had were for the scarab lord quest back in Classic and that was basically the guild funneling materials to one player to make a guild goal. I pride myself on good electronic music but twitch hates me (?) and sends me copyright notices almost every night the past 4 years.
My recommendation: If you want to see a good streamer check out mad season show, He’s been streaming lately… even today.
