It’s not harder, it’s just that account-bound item trading is a privileged operation. You are the only one who will benefit from the action and the only one who initiates it and you can only do the mailing with items blizzard has carefully allowed to be BoA.
Retail is honestly a mess when it comes to dev bloat. I would hate to be a code monkey on the WoW team circa 2023 tbh

It will mess up the servers economy, for example , if your server is selling a mount for like 1 mill and another server is selling a mount for 500k you can mail 500k to that server and buy it, or buy a pet for cheap on one server and sell it for more on another server
This. Cross-realm trading doesn’t really work without a region-wide AH for everything, not just commodities.

Yeah…I had that angle in mind at first, saw the no mail inggold catch and said…that is odd.
I may make lemons into lemonade. I need to upgrade cloth looms for the lock leveling.
Not really spamming horde as much. Not at all actually. that gold pile will…upgrade the looms lol… Keeping my alliance bank balance much healthier.
Crappy work around for me…but a workaround none the less.
