DI Dwarves have unique teleport abilities. I don’t see how OP’s proposal would be any different.

We have a teleport? I only know about The Nautilus, ah, I mean the Slimey Eel.
I think you should have a linked portal system all over Azeroth… Tell Tinkmaster Overspark to get his rear in gearz…
They’ve even removed the Blingtron from the responsibility of Engineers – the Blingtron 7000 is a faction gated toy on the Quartermaster vendor in Mecha-Guh-Nome (big robot guy up on a u-turn terrace in town).
I haven’t got my faction high enough to buy the B7k so I have no idea what he makes available. Remember the older B’s even had a rare, rare chance of getting the Mists era rocket mounts, so lets hope the brand new Bling will have something desirable in the drop table and not just a daily vendor trash dispensary.
So long as those of us who aren’t semi sentient squeaky toys can punt your gnome butt through them, sure!

i mean, i wouldnt doubt that gnomes/goblins could make a portal in a sense that could tap into the leylines that go through mechagon since portals are basically just openings in them that allow for instant travel

Only if the Goblin’s has a slightly shorter cast time but has a chance to blow the user up.

Be awesome if engineers could make a device that lets them port to any main hub in any zone all over WoW. Give it a 30 minute cooldown. Easy peasy.
Yes… it was hidden by the same people that hid Monkey Island.
I would love for a blueprint to drop where you could construct your own personal (think jukebox or kegerator) portal in Mechagon and have it link to the capitol city.
I agree that EVERYONE should have a portal, and if they don’t want to put it in Boralus then maybe let us earn/buy a pocket portal (e.g. hearthstone) to Mechagon?

Gnomes don’t do portals.
We can build our own teleporters - we have bags overflowing with parts anyway and the Tinkerbot can make them.
Engineers should definitely get something more substantial from Mechagon. I mean it’s an engineer’s playground, and they’re real engineers while the rest of us are all pretend engineers.
Maybe they could add mini mage tower style challenge caves which can only be unlocked and entered by engi’s.

Engineers did get 2 new portals, one to each continent. But they’re like the MoP one, use it and you get a random location which is exactly how engineering is supposed to be. lol
