I’m just curious to see what the community thinks and why
They’d need to really ramp up the difficulty; I was always a fan of adding an additional affix with every +1 key level, for example.

So in the current version of M+, there isnt a key level you would find acceptable, even if it was like 14+ or something?
They need to start having the dungeons randomly one shot the top two classes from the previous week as well. Only slackers use the same class for more than a week or two in a row
Lv10, or 12 if blizzard don’t want to hurt the “feeling” of those snowflake-self-proclaimed-pfu-elite players.
But limited to 1 per week, in addition to great vault lottery.
The problem is that the game design stops at +12. Beyond that it’s just the equivalent of people taking off gear.
Should Mythic raid bosses drop better gear if you do the fights not wearing all your gear? No, that would be stupid.
For this season, 13 would be acceptable. Less than 1% of players have those cleared so there’s no chance it could upset Mythic Raiders
The problem with just raw numbers is that people now start to blame stuff like “lack of defensives.” (Cause some classes need to double up etc.) And there’s less skill expression too.
If all the affixes in the history of m+ came back, and each level added a new one, that sounds like a fun experiment… we have what? 15 affixes?
Answering seriously, I dont care what level that Mythic gear drops as long as there is a reasonable path for me to get to that level. Given time we should be able to upgrade our hero gear to the point where it makes every class able to to get to the tier where we can get mythic gear. The importance is the progression and how enjoyable it is, not the level. We all want to have at least a few pieces of mythic gear by the end of the season if we are relatively good players and play a few times a week.
No one knows your skill level, so it might be impossible for you.
Keep wishing but they will never let you farm myth track endlessly. Not in delves not in m+ and not on a vendor.
I would argue, that even though there are only numerical changes as you go from 12 to 13 then 14 etc. There are differences in strategy. Like things that worked for you and your group on a 12, do not always work on a 13. Sometimes Mobs that are ok to pull on 12 are absolutely not Ok to pull on a 14 so the route changes a bit. That has been true for most of M+ existence.
There would be differences in strategy for raids too if they just changed the numbers, but they don’t - they completely change how the fights work.
M+ is just a lazy no-effort afternoon job by Blizzard that a lot of people bought into because its hyperinflated rewards were too easy to get.
I never said I wished it. I’m asking YOU if you feel like there is an acceptable level. Sounds like the answer is ‘No’ though. You can also give a caveat that maybe you could only acquire gear from that level a limited amount of times per week or something
then we completely redesign vault in the process, and sure.
Mythic track will now drop, starting from +10. (and only first completion per key level.)
Each key level will only count towards vault once.
So no one does M+ because they like it better than raids? No one prefers to do content with 4 friends rather than a guild of 19 others?
Most people do it just because gear drops there.
Not for love of the system.
There are a handful of people who do it for their epeen score and more power to 'em.
Most people are there for the gear hand-outs. Always been that way, since M+ was added in Legion.
The overwhelming majority of people who do M+ absolutely despise it.
This is the first season I have played since before Pandaria where I have been denied mythic gear. I am the same or better player now than in the earlier releases and expansions. To me there is something broke in this season. Not trying to be the guy that cleared the highest key. It is just that if you cant progress and get better gear M+ becomes a waste of time in my mind.
This season, no one denied you mythic gear.
You simply weren’t good enough. You lost skill.
