??? In what way? Why do people say this? We do beast AoE (so M+), bring plenty of utility, we can stealth. And in raid, yeah, you have to be good to play Feral right, but when you do, you’re checks Proudmoore DPS rankings the best DPS player on the realm, beating every other class.
I’m not even 90th percentile and I’m typically at the top of DPS. I truly don’t understand how people can say this. Feral AoE is literally braindead easy.
I think there is a lot of stigma left over from recent years. Feral is on average better than half of DPS in raid rankings and an absolute beast in M+. It’s even run in the MDI.
Affliction, arcane, marks, holy priest, and survival are rated worst for M+.
Windwalker, unholy, ret, outlaw, and arcane are rated worst for raiding.
Feral is currently in the top 10 DPS for raiding, despite what the casuals on this thread are saying. Feral was in a very bad spot earlier in the expansion, so stigma is leftover from then.
I always acknowledge when my spec is bad, because I am sick of my spec being bad every expansion. Fortunately, feral is actually in a decent spot right now, so my complaints are minimal. Especially with the changes in Shadowlands.
I have heard that warlocks in general are least desired in mythic dungeons. Which is kinda sad since they lack mobility while spellcasting, as constantly having to move is a huge penalty to the warlock’s DPS.
I assume they’re asleep. It’s very late. I’m eager to find out whether those are their mains so I know if I can laugh at the guy failing 15 keys and the guy whose best key is a +6, believing they are able to speak for raiding and M+.
Well, OP is specifically asking about M+ and raiding, so we’re looking at those rankings. The two people insisting feral is bad are, themselves, very bad.
I wish people would be nicer to the feral spec, it is the coolest one and they are missing out! And thank goodness I don’t usually do the M+ dungeons in time because I only do the completion groups for the weekly chance to being disappointed.
