At best Paladins get either holy or prot being a decent/good pick during a patch, Ret is always at best average if you include all dps specs, or significantly below average if you only take the best dps spec from each class. They’ve been good (top ~25%) for two raids since WoD release.
One match with 4 paladins over the course of an 18 year old game is probably not good representation of overall performance.
All star dps for 8.0 also has a Balance druid ranked at #7 so I’m not sure "worst dps specs’ is a fair assessment.
PVE Holy Paladin seems like it will be decent, as it always is.
Prot will be fine, as well. Probably in the lower half of tank specs, but all the tank specs are looking pretty strong rn. (Except BrM survivability.)

What the overall average and what the very best players in the world are capable of are literally night and day from one another.
He didn’t mention a percentile, and “All Star” rankings have nothing to do with how good or bad someone is. If you have logs, you have an all star rating.

Even despite that though, the fact alone that a player is capable of achieving a #7 rank with that class means it’s not the worst class as everyone on that class had that capability with equivalent skill.

It feels fun. I really like the RNG aspect of the avengers shield. Yeah it felt squishy compared to DH and warrior.
I pulled an entire room and wiped on my paladin, didn’t wipe on the others. I think we wiped because I didn’t expect to take that much damage lol.
But it feels fun to play and I don’t know if I’m playing it correctly but I’m using the dusk and dawn build.
