they do glitch out low sometimes. I had one in Uldum pop right on top of me as I was flying low after crossing the mountains from Silithus.

It is possible to aggro it and pull it to land, I did it completely inadvertently one day, was afk briefly in the area, came back to it trying to kill me, flew away (very, very slowly since I had high stacks) and landed on a nearby mountain/hillish area figuring it would run off but it didn’t, followed me to ground to finish me off
There’s no escaping the worm
I do think a raid group could potentially kill it but nothing short of that

). seeing as these things are extra-dimensional “void” worms I can only guess what they’d eat (or more accurately anything they wouldn’t eat).
It’s designed as a way to say “You can fly… but just so you don’t enjoy it too much here’s a lol mob to btfo you”. But no the worm does too much white damage and God only knows how much a crit would do. You would literally need a vanilla style zerg and even then the servers would crash before it died.
For the longest time I would specifically go kill Fel Reaver cause he caused me such great anxiety back in TBC. 
Took a long time to let that go lol.

Theoretically… possibly? A full raid of Brewmasters geared to the teeth with juicy absorb trinkets and a handful of healers along for the trip? Lots of kiting and taunting? It’d take a long time but probably doable with perfect play and/or lots of deaths. This is all assuming you can even get one to ground level, of course, which I’m not sure is possible.
Personally I think it’s easier to just not AFK and fly at a reasonable height. Then they don’t bother you.
I simply don’t understand their purpose. Some are way too close to the ground sometimes too.

I was feeling courageous on my DH—decided to dismount and throw my glaive at one.
It evaded and flew off. Gonna go with not killable.
I reckon a chain of healers at 20-40 yard spread in the sky from worm to ground. Tank or dps pulls then drops. Each healer in the chain casts a healing spell or hot on the healer above to get everyone in combat.
Do this above a graveyard and see if you can even get it to the ground without leashing. Would be fun to test
So at least one of them flies close enough to the boss platform in the Uldum invasion that I was able to shoot an arrow at it. He started coming towards me, then my next arrow was evaded and he went back to flying peacefully.
I believe it will be awhile until they are killable, as it seems to require a OHK.
With that 117M HP pool, that will take a while, if they’re even around after SL hits
The worms are mighty
With the rate they boost our power nowadays I wouldn’t bee too surprised if it was possible by the end of SL.
Curious if anyone has managed to kill one of these yet.

I bet you it is killable if you have a 5 person group at least. We must kill it. We should have been killing it all along. Whoever is against this Blizz anti flying idea needs to make a stance themselves.
