Is Tazavesh Worse than Shrine of the Storms?

I have done every dungeon in WoW except this one. It just confused me (yeah what can I say, I possibly easily confused) but there just seemed to be SO many mechanics and tricks and things you had to remember. I decided I wouldn’t burden a group with my being there because I’d make a total hash of it. I dont know if its good or bad, I just now it didnt appeal to me at all and I couldnt figure a reason to do it.

Not, Shrine of the Storms is a Raid, thing that would be difficult to compare it no matter how difficult it is.

in comparation of Mega Dungeons, is like… Worse the Mechagon…

SotS is a dungeon. A very bad dungeon, but a dungeon nonetheless.

Shrine wasn’t too bad imo. It’s more like mechagon workshop on tyrannical :upside_down_face:

You are probably thinking of Crucible of Storms which is a mini raid.

I like Tazavesh for its uniqueness, it doesn’t follow any of the traditional dungeon designs, such as running around, trading items, actually using communication, etc. The problem is, people aren’t used to that, let alone being sociable… So it kind of hurts how this dungeon works for some. Though I don’t see it being bad in Mythic + because communication is a basic thing in most cases.

Shrine of the Storms sucked because if nobody knew what they’re doing, it’ll be a slog, it required knowing your own class as well as knowing what enemies are being a pain in the *#& from progressing. I actually had a lot more problems doing Mythic + in that dungeon than Tazavesh so far.

My only negative thoughts on Tazevesh is the amount of enemies there are, that could be a issue as you go up Mythic + IMO. Not so much when we’re looking at it from normal Mythic and Heroic since that’s just casual running. Though with the oncoming double legendaries, I bet it’ll be interesting and fun. I know I’ll be vaporizing on my Enhancement Shaman with Fire focused build and Venthyr helping causing as much feedback loop as possible.

I actually kinda liked shrine, mainly because even though it was a rough dungeon the music was FANTASTIC. That’s really what made bfa dungeons less annoying the great music in them.

Shrine vibe was very cool , i really liked the theme of the dungeon .

The snap mechanic was pretty cool to do big packs :heart_eyes:

I have 1 problem with Tazzavesh and it’s the last boss in market, the camera is just clipping everywhere when the room is split in 4.

To the contrary actually. But if you want to be mad that I spend my gold (never having bought tokens) to get things that you’d rather mindlessly grind instead, then more power to you.

I mean… I don’t consider M+ “mindless grinding”. I consider it “playing the game”.

Shrine never broke my keystone by glitching an already gimmicky fight with a bug thats been happening for months and never got fixed

Other than the bugs on the last boss, streets is a pretty free key…

Maze is kinda interesting, bosses are pretty easy except mail room will be awkward in higher levels with the dmg.

Last boss with no bugs is the best boss ever done in m+ imo

I did Shrine a couple times when I resubbed so I don’t remember too much from it. Streets and Gambit I’ve been pushing from at lower key level since I didn’t do it in 9.1. I am getting closer to doing +15 on them but I had to go back and do Streets at +2 because I’ve never done the market trading with the items before. I asked the group if I could do it for experience just in case I am in a pug at higher keys with the stakes being a lot higher especially if no one else has done it.

Let me refresh your memory:

-Groups always dying to the miniboss that required standing in a shield to not get one-shot
-2nd boss duo spawned tornados constantly
-Final boss had purple tentacles spawn out of purple ground and one-shot DPS who couldnt’ distinguish the purples apart

Streets isn’t even a dungeon, it’s like a crappy escort quest scenario but overtuned x1000. Taza totally turned my opinion of 9.2 from tentatively positive to extremely negative. I hope they remove it from the game in 9.2.5. Gambit is barely better, the first boss even in heroic is a hard impassable wipe if the group doesn’t know the rune puzzle. Just pure maliciousness, it needs to be remade from the ground up as a dungeon or removed.
