Is Stormstrike meant to be doing so little damage?

They want enhancement to be more of a caster instead of melee by the sound of it. Melee being filler. So dumb.

Clearly missing the piece where enh is an uptime fiend that needs to be in melee else msw gen plummets

Stormstrike not doing stormstrike damage is definitely one of the dumbest design choices

I agree but I don’t see them changing it, although they did make ele mastery benefit physical so who knows what’s coming in a later patch. I also mildly called out / predicted they wouldn’t change this back in December:

“themes” and “aesthetics” aside I think its hilarious that they decide to introduce “stormstrike” nature/phys damage, and yet the actual ability Stormstrike is just physical and therefore does not scale with mastery. I can 100% see a world where stormstrike damage exists and they never change the actual ability to be nature/phys.
