Seasonal games are supposed to be boring towards the end. These phases are working like seasons. And we’re at the end of the first season. If there was never any downtime, then hype could not be built up for the next phase/season.

Is it? I’ve just had a mini bg of 5 v 5 in stonetalon mountain near Alliance camp… and previous to that I was doing some fights in Ashenvale.
Open world has never felt so alive in wow in years.
SoD is a lot of fun, it’s just 1st phase doesn’t offer that much, lvl 25 doesn’t have many things. We need to wait till next phase and then it’ll happen again until 3rd phase and so on.
For me, If the runes actually worked as I wanted them to, I would be still playing… Not bored, just disappointed,.
I’m still having fun but I’d like to have some more info on what to expect in phase 2 by now.

My only complaint is warrior tanking, never played one live classic and I thoroughly enjoyed it during SOD until I got to tank my first instance. Apparently shield and 1h isn’t the standard it’s 2h tanking? I get faceroll content but trying to follow any sort of guide, one guy says dual wield one guy says 2h for rage gen, I just shelved the class.
P1 has dragged on a little long for the avalible content, I imagine p2 will be a lot more interesting.

I’m not entitled to having my food served in a timely fashion either, as having my food served in less than three hours was never promised.
Arguing that waiting three hours for the food I paid for gives me more time to play on my phone doesn’t make you look intelligent.
They didn’t promise me my food wouldn’t be overcooked either, they said around medium rare so well done doesn’t entitle me to a refund.
You remind me of the Seth Rogan tweet where he says it’s ridiculous to complain about having your car broken into, that it’s just a natural part of living in the city. I imagine you go through life never sending the steak back and think that it makes you a better person.

its boring being capped at 25 for me, i just want the gates opened to 60 personally. Depending on next phase im just going to hit 40 and log till the 50 phase and so on.

Video games are not a crutch for an emotional void felt within many people.
If you have community within the game, regular people you interact with and have a connection to, and do things with, the game is far from boring.
For those who complain that SoD is boring, I’d look towards filling the excess time with activities you don’t find boring, instead of just beating your head against an unfullfilling video game equivalent of ‘retail therapy’. You can’t grind your way out of loneliness.
