Not a big fan of the epic scene anyway, but this slop makes me not queue at all ever. I think 16 of the 20 epics I’ve queued this season have been this trash. When Ion was saying how good it was going to be I knew we were in trouble.

this bg is absolute garbage. they need to stop making ways for the que synch losers to hide from combat. this is SR every single match with the que synch scum…”we need 20+ at bov….everyone else ref…good luck” and since all the good players go to ref we are always over-matched. just put us in a colosium already with 80 players and lets just go nuts. quit with this stupid hiding stuff.

South Shore V Terran Mill is basically the 40v40 teamfight. And while it can be a laggy mess, it is a fun laggy mess IMO lol.
Much better than Slayer’s.
At this point I would rather they just make reskins of things like WSG, and forget 40 mans even exist. It is either queue sync teams, or really unfun games on maps with 18 year old bugs that have still not been fixed.

yea i’d be totally ok if they got rid of every single epic except av. and just put their efforts into the 8v8 rated and 10v10 non-rated. put some zazzle into them. just make av part of the whole non-rated random que system.
slayers rise is ok but strand of the ancients isnt? maybe bring back cubicle crawls and stuff because they did way better at development then than now.

literally have not queued but a handful of epics all season, they will forever be doa until queue synching is fixed, no idea about the bg items thats weird

The most egregious one for me is their refusal to fix vehicle scaling on IOC. I feel like anyone that cares could fix that on their first cup of coffee in the morning. But the poor PvP dev, at his lonely dusty desk in the back corner of the office, next to the HOTS guy, can’t seem to do it. It blows my mind lol.

ion gonnacostus has centered the entire game around m+. for one reason only. To make this game a full-scale pay-to-win game. All the carebears line up to turn tokens into gold for their raids/m+/titles/achieves/mounts. Ion makes blizz money hand over fist.
He won’t spend a single moment on pvp because it’s a time sink of resources. And he’s a pve player/former dev. I think there is an interview out there where he said he wish wow pvp didn’t exist. So until we get a new game leader……pvp is gonna never have a single resource. mass cheating. mass que synching. huge balance issues. and yes….a single pvp dev with a brain could fix everything in pvp
I’ve been doing epics for the quest and had Slayer’s Rise twice, absolutely bodying the enemy faction but lost both times.
This BG just feels like garbo
IOC is my favorite 
Slayer’s Rise is the most boring BG in the game.
The initial team fight is solid… after that - I roam around looking for kills… Just to end the game with 2 kills, 0 deaths. It needs A LOT more flight orbs. The only good thing is - its a quick BG.
After the 5th Slayer’s Rise per day - I start afking out. Five is my limit.
I will agree with you there… There is a new bug where you die and sent to they gy, but the gy doesnt have a healer and you cant rez unless you run to your body. Logging out doesnt work, reload doesnt work… its a joke.
Then on top of that the bad design of the entire ebg… ughh.. they need to bring back Tol Barad.
I wont lie… I have become somewhat fond of IOC now…. never thought id actually like it.
i got killed in SR fighting at BOV and when I ressed I was levitating and could’nt mount. So I floated over to BOM and realized that I was immune to damage. So I floated around fighting taking no damage.
I mean I suppose having that experience was fun

hah that sounds about right for SR….. They did just recently fix an issue where if horde capped one point they would lose like 100 points on the board.
I lay money they used AI making that ebg….

I mean with the Microsoft layoffs and other crap, which really doesn’t effect what happened when they were working on this expansion, it wouldn’t surprised me if they cut huge corners to get it done with their don’t give a crap about pvp attitude. It feels like they had an idea to make a cool big fight and it turned into a mess of misdirection and too many things going on.
and THEN WE CAN HAVE BIG GODZILLAS ROAMING THE MAP
AND THEN if they dont do this THEYLL FLOAT AROUND INVICIBLE AND THEN THE GY BUGS OUT
