Blizzard already cannot enforce their own rules, so ‘banning boosting’ is something else that doesn’t need to be done and can be better accomplished via changing XP gains so low-level players are only getting 10XP per kill when some Level 60 is carrying them through Stocks/SM/Mara.
Banning gdkp but allowing boosts and selling item drops is so a$$ backwards. Both should be banned if you really care.
Feelings based rules seems to be the motivation; nothing good ever comes of that.
trade 2: LF mage STOCKS boost, group ready 2 go.
That’s basically dreamscythe all the time. I don’t even know how to do it but at this point I’m starting to think maybe I should learn.
It’s very easy; I use to do boosting, just gotta learn the methods and you can basically print gold.
Also there are some talents you do not want to take in frost that you may think are good but will ruin your day.
“Awarded” is the key term, passing on all loot is not the same as awarding loot. Its also impossible for someone with HoJ to even roll on it, thats definitely not awarding an item
Yea to me there is 3 scenarios.
Someone flat out selling an item, say Blackstone ring for 25g on drop
This is exactly what the anti gdkp rule is.
2nd thing is like our hunters helping our melee get hoj because the hunters can solo farm it.
This isn’t against the rules.
3rd thing is boosting, people selling boosts aren’t selling gear, the gear is FFA and epics are usually HR.
The only thing against the rules is the first example.
IDC either way, I don’t report people for selling the gear
? what? blizzard? dang by the time people work thru their envy, mages wont have any talents lol
What I mean is just don’t spend points in RNG root because it scuffs your damage.
improved frost nova? or the one that occasionally frost novas some but not others? cause frost nova is nearly as rng lol
You don’t take frostbite.
Regular Frost nova is fine, just frost bite talent (Rng roots on frost effects)
Problem with it is you have often targets rooted simply from hitting you; it’s amazing in PvP but super tilting in AOE farming. Also it will root off blizzard; again really handy in PvP but screws everything up on AOE farms
yeah i figured that out the hard way. didnt read icy veins or wowhead or guides. just a death or two and light bulb came on
On a slow timeline where people will likely play a diff class in tbc than classic, boosting is fine. If you don’t wanna partake, just level the normal way
Just had a thought. This gonna be insane a few weeks before they roll out TBC. All those new players who want to get to 58 for outlands…it’s gonna be nuts!
Yup massive leveling push inc final month of Vanilla Anniversary.
Yea I’ma be a hunter.
Pre patch should release goats so I can be a goat hunter and get to 60 before TBC launches.
So long as everyone reports you falsely as well all is good.
It’s not a false report. Those people are always spamming their messages. Spam is suspension worthy.
It gives out a chat squelch; that is a little bit different.
