But Ret is strong. A little too strong. And i think talking about it on the forums is fine. Most people in my life don’t even know what a ret pally is.
its just odd that we all see arcane mage going crazy pre-season and ppl collectively go “see that needs a nerf” but when something is consistently broken for years, making a post gets a cultlike response from rets that “it actually is healthy” and “im sorry you died in pvp” or “ya but when they nerf us youll just do this type of post again” like where is this warranted lol if ppl make good callouts to blizz, i feel it should be acknowledged as such tbh
they just try to undermine the validity of the post because it was their spec specifically.(which tbf they literally shut down channels in their coord because they felt “undertuned” speaks volumes about who we are dealing with here)

I dont know how to play ret. But did some 2’s with a ret at 1800ish and he couldn’t stop laughing about how he was ranged and couldn’t be kited.
i was playing prot and kited a dh over and over in duels and just kept winning, i felt super bad about it lol i dont even touch it now
What’s fun is being a mage and spell stealing blessing of freedom when they have bubble on CD. Kite kite kite, might die but you waste a lot of their time.

RGE can throw daggers - pitiful, but its damage.
WAR can toss axes - same kinda pitiful but damage is damage.
DH - throw glaive
MNK - jade lightning
SURV - pet is pretty speedy.
“Cant do any damage” is misleading
“Cant do significant amounts of damage” maybe.
I mean, their discord closed because they didn’t get as large a buff as they wanted. You’re pretty much guaranteed to catch flak if you ever mention the truth (paladin is the most overpowered class right now, and has been since season 1)
oh the heroic throw thats 82k dmg in pvp? that ability? you mean the one we use when targets are running and we want to keep em in combat before they mount up?
again this isnt a problem or viable in pvp
my stance isnt all range on a melee is bad, infact i mentioned that responding to this
im against significant range dmg coming from a melee class like ret, survival and dh are intentionally designed around having both infact throw glaive is even in blade dance(a melee skill) survival is made to be weaved in and other, neither of those 2 are plate classes, dh is actually super defensive rn so if you mentioned that ill agree(its also lowest firstblood in arenas rn at 20%)

As you can tell by checking my stats and achievements, i do not do any PvP so apologies but i really donʻt know what counts towards good PvP damage.

Well maybe you should look at this a little differently and understand that you need to save the majority of your CDs for that 20 second window that you will have to kill the Ret. Until that point play more defensively
