while the idea of MoP incarnation might be finished, I think the idea of remix is fine, maybe to it to another expansion in the future. Perhaps have another remix on the fourth season of the next expansion. WoD remix? Legion remix? BC remix?
It was just for us to have fun and level new characters.
Not sure how one can be disappointed when the count down to the end has been on the launcher from day one.
Did my spin on Remix. Got the things. Took two weeks off WoW before returning to retail and playing my warrior still feels like driving a bus.
They asked for more items to buy.
If there is more stuff to buy and collect, then there is a reason to log back on and start grinding out bronze again.
Depending on if it has any rewards yeah.
And if it has any real story impact it is.

If youre just asking for a single short “well wasnt that cool, heres what we learned” thing, then i wont object to that.
No new rewards though. Getting bronze for it would be fine.
Next year we’ll get the full monty of Mists. I have special plans and interests for Classic Mists.
No, they just asked for the current weapons to be tossed into arsenal instead of having to farm them right now.
It’s really no different. People who care are already farming for them. People who don’t care aren’t suddenly coming back to spend roughly a week out of the month left to play for them.
But even I said they aren’t going to do this, most likely. I just hope they learn from it for future Remixes.
I was more referring to a closing quest.
That’s really all that’s being talked about. Basic quest with like a 2 gold reward. lol

Yep, one day they’ll throw the switch or push the button and it’ll be over, instant and quick and painless. God Mode in WoW was fun as a summer distraction.
By having that in brackets next to the request for more stuff to buy, it looked more like a suggestion of one thing they could add for sale and not the entirety of their request.
If that is all they wanted, i think its just a case of bad phrasing creating a miscommunication.

Possibly! I focused on just the weapon arsenals, because I thought that was what they wanted. But I see your point.

Remix was explained in full by blizzard on its release. Sorry, no more free handouts.
I honestly think, at this point, they might put some of the new pandaria weapons in the Trading Post.
I’m really annoyed at how many weapons which will become unobtainable and were added just for this I still have to try and farm out. Weapons that aren’t just reskins but entirely new models which are obtainable only by running 4 different classes through all the various raids, doing world content farming mobs, and spamming dungeons and scenarios. It’s a lot of work and I’m already flush with bronze I don’t need on one maxxed toon from it.
So to that end I think they should really add weapons arsenals for those weapons. If those people who already quit did so because they already had the weapons then they shouldn’t mind. If they already quit because they didn’t care then they shouldn’t mind. If they quit, didn’t have them, hear about it and spend their soon to be useless bronze on it they should be elated to get one final thing out of it for effort they already put in.

The problem with that is that you might end up finding a class you really enjoy later. For example I barely played hunter before dragonflight but I play it a lot now because BM is basically ranged melee and extremely chill to play when I just want to turn off my brain do damage not worry about routing or positioning.
Since our Remix characters will immediately be part of our Warbands come Tuesday, my friends and guildies have been running the raids and trading weapons we don’t have even if we can equip them, because they should become part of the collections on Tuesday.
That doesn’t help the world drops… but… it’s at least something.
It is always possible but im a weirdo who is in to the whole class fantasy thing as well as how transmog looks and sits on the character. (Such as i hate the look of swords and stuff)
So the classes i could actually play while still being the person i am now are limited, and ive found the ones that work for me.
Maybe in the future i will change and enjoy different aspects. But im sure by then i wont mind about not having a few items from remix
