So I’m leveling a bunch of alts rn and I’ve always been into dungeon spamming (with the occasional quest or two in between) to level especially if I’m really trying to learn a new class properly. I keep hearing that questing is faster, is this true? Tbh dungeons do feel a bit slower than they used to
I typically go for dungeons that hand out quests in the beginning of the dungeons, but that requires Chromie time.
Depends. If you’re a tank/healer dungeons are much faster. If you’re a DPS, probably not.
something is wrong with scaling in dungeons atm slowing things down by a lot

Yeah really depends on the dungeon, if you get something like grimrail or razorfen you may as well save yourself some time and take deserter lol
I’m still figuring that out, too. Seems to depend on the class.
You actually make pretty good XP just getting hits on the elites only and doing the boss.
Plus, there’s weird business going on with tagging right now.

Really depends. I do both Questing and queue whenever possible if I’m in a rush because that is the fastest way. If you happen to be tanking or healing, I’d say Dungeons do tend to outpace the questing.
I’ve done it both ways and it seems like soloing is faster but I’m not sure.

I imagine there are level ranges where one is faster than another and that is not the case at a different level range.
Overall idk, would love to see some data.
It seems like whatever you enjoy doing the most usually feels fastest.

What level can you start doing the invasions? Last night I took a level 47 to one and was 56 in a little over an hour and a half, just tagging elites. Got lots of gear upgrades in the process too. One dimmed thingy away from my heirloom too.
yes. unless you have a really good group for 5man to spam dungeons it’s a lot slower. got to consider the scaling + bad groups. just quest or do pre patch farming its faster.
It’s always better to do stuff with other people imo.

Depends , if you have preplanned route then as dps you are probably gonna level faster through questing
Heals/tanks and with friends mostly like LFD is faster.
I spammed dungeons from 50-60 on all my alts and it was fast. I enjoyed it much more than questing but that’s just me. Like 2 dungeons a level, felt great.
