Can we get a confirmation that this IS or ISNT in the game so i can go about planning a pair of crafted items and playing the game??
It’s currently an option in the crafted window. But nobody has it.
says it drops off world creatures and requires “Requires Midnight Jewelcrafting (50)”. So my guess would be you need to be in the cursed variant of coiled isle fighting ancient sea creatures on a jewelcrafter with sufficent skill since ammolite comes from ancient sea creatures. I haven’t seen any ancient sea creatures in coiled isle, or in any of the midnight zones, have you?

wasted about a day just looking for this stupid embellishment. this is ruining my season. fix it or remove it from the game so i can move on.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the source was rep gated somehow.
There’s fishing stuff I want, but I need to be further along with Captain Tokka to unlock Venom Fishing.
And there’s other stuff you can get, starting from there.
Honestly, there’s a good amount of things we’re still figuring out.
It’s day three of the new patch, er, day three of Season Two anyway.

embellishements are always available right off the bat so they can be used in the race. they wouldnt timegate something like this.
they need to either fix it immediately or remove it as an option bc ppl will have spent their tidal cores and then some new item drops and suddenly the balance of embellishments shifts.

I’d give it a few days/a week.
Possibly bugged- we’ve had recipes that weren’t dropping properly before.
Devs will notice and fix it.

Yeah, not even Wowhead has any drop data on it. And if Wowhead doesn’t have drop data, that probably means it’s not currently available.

Not a lot of jewelcrafters doing ritual mass murder on the Venom-Eyed Bonechewer.

It seems the former concept of world dropping recipes are now relegated specifically to that profession. No more finding one and giving it to an alt apparently. #FunDetected
I went out of my way to grind this character from 80 to 90 instead of just playing my fully geared undead bdk during a workweek where i have limited time specifically to minmax my crit. 
I would prefer to have this recipe obtainable and craft this on a ring. 
Option B is to craft a loa ring and just use red gems. 
Option C is to craft a ring with a temporary prism embellishment if this Polished Ammolite exists in the game and will eventually be obtainable.

What i am seeking here is an answer as to whether the embellishment will be obtainable this season or if it was scrapped so I know what ring I should craft.

either its real or they accidentally put something from the last titan in a midnight build, in either event wowhead data only has 26 recorded kills on Venom-Eyed Bonechewer so we can’t really know for cretain
