I agree with this point and they could add the points of customization like on the houses to add fences or openings.
I understand that yes, from what I've been told, there seem to be problems with the exterior lighting or something like that, and they're making repairs.
Whatever the case may be, I agree with you; limiting exterior decorations to a 250 budget is a mistake. It should increase as the house levels up, just like interior decorations and the number of rooms.
I hope Blizzard pays attention to this and that this option is available in future patches.

Yes, the Outdoor Decor Budget REALLY needs to be increased. I would love for it to be 500 - 750, but even 350 would be an improvement.
We are in agreement!
The major problem in beta was outdoor lighting, because some people were putting a couple dozen bonfires in their yards. Most non-lighting decorations donāt cause those same problems.
And to note, Iām at 236/250, and Iām going to be going closer to the limit when the 12.0.7 patch hits, so I wouldnāt mind them raising the exterior decoration limit to 300.
Or, you know, reduce the decor cost of treesā¦
Or maybe the solution is putting lighting decor in itās own category?
More budget please!!
Outdoor lighting works on the 12.0.7 PTR. Their light canāt overlap now, which also limits how many lights you can put outdoors.
Yes totally in agreement!!! Hoping it will happen soon!!!
Not even worried about the lighting, just to be able to add more items to finish my yard along with my own house design.
I totally agree I need more outdoors
The smart solution would be to LIMIT the number of lights and not allow them to be resized to 200% size.
Iām cool with them locking it down completely. That works too. I actually donāt mind the limit on the exterior. Itās better than allowing idiots to look for ways to weaponize housing.

Sweet. I just hit level 7 on my house.
House is almost lvl 9 and still have a cap of 250, so i am guessing this is no where close to being implemented in the game.
I heard it will be increased in the upcoming patch 12.0.7, along with the return of outdoor lighting.
Oops! I should have read through all the comments before posting.
Yep! Speculation (but by everyone) is that this patch will drop June 16th. With a new outdoor lighting system fixing the problems and a bump to 350 decor budget there will be a lot to do for all of us!
āImagineā, she thought, āOutdoor lightingā¦ā
String lights. Please. OMG
You have no concept of the passage of time.
Open your battle.net or even just the game.
Look under the play button. Is is 12.0.7?
No? You have your answer.
Jesus christ.
Like I just gave you ptr patch notes. That should have been enough to tell you, between my post, other peoples post, and you going to the post yourself, to tell you itās not a 12.0.5 implementation.
This has likely changed, with turbulent timeways changed from June 16th to June 30th.
Iād wager June 30th is the new date.

If this is so, good. They need to ditch this patch cadence if the patch is going to be as broken as 12.0.5 has been (and how 11.0.5 and 11.1.5 were before that.
Some people however, think that the change just means 12.1 is still releasing on Aug 11th, meaning it didnt move back 12.0.7 at all.
Time will tell when we have an announcement for the release of 12.0.7/12.1.
Edit-- Just looked. We are at 6% of the buff. That would mean at least 9 more weeks of 12.0 (as the buff has to be at 15% so at LEAST 15 weeks) and then a week or two after that to actually play with the 15% buff.
There was 23 weeks between Undermine and Manaforge Omega, but only 11 weeks between Nerubāar Palace and Undermine, and another 23 weeks between Manaforge Omega and the triple raid of midnight.
So, with 12.0.1 releasing on February 10th, but Season 1 not starting until March 17th, 12.1 could either be June 2nd, which is 11 weeks after Season 1 started, or August 25th if they followed the previous two tiers at 23 weeks. However, their buff was every other week. The VS/DR/MoQD buffs are every week, so it wonāt be exactly the same.
I do not feel they can do an 8 week cadence unless they intend for 12.0 to end the reset after we get the 15% buff, which doesnt seem right with how theyāve done raid renown and raid buffs for the entire last expansion (or how they do raid buffs in general.
But, 8 week cadence would put 12.1 at May 12th, which we are clearly past already. So that isnāt happening. 12.0.1 and 12.0.5 were also not 8 weeks apart, they were 10. So its not even 8 weeks between each literal patch.
Currently, we are at 4.5 weeks into 12.0.5, so 14.5 weeks total in this expansion. I really donāt want them to release 12.1 on June 16th. Iād rather it be longer so the patch actually works. The people who are acting like impatient babies with housing can wait to be honest.
Quality over quantity, and we will not hear the end of it if something in housing breaks in 12.0.7 or a major feature breaks in 12.1. Iād rather they have the time to actually make the content complete and functional because what is the point of putting out half baked content that ends up not working beause of impatient time constraints in the first place?
Indeed. My big outdoor party decks need more decor space and some lighting!
And, of course, people to party withā¦
Because humans always want more.
Iād like more. 250 is just dumb. Thereās a lot of cool stuff out there I would like on my plot.
To answer OPās questionā¦I do believe that we are getting an increase in patch 12.0.7, which drops in mid June. At least that was my understanding, but I could be wrong.
However, this is according to Icy Veins and the Googleās.
