I’m seeing conflicting information on this, especially on other websites. Anyone with personal experience yet on here to say?
I sometimes like to help my alt on another account do low level dungeons. I’m not sure if I should count the other account entering the dungeon to my 30 total.
No way of knowing unless someone tests it out really… Since Blizz didn’t include any way of tracking lockouts… What a stupid idea.
Some of the multiboxers posting today claim it’s per email. I don’t have firsthand experience, though.
From what i’ve seen posted it’s shared between everything on the bnet account, however have not been able to confirm with any guildies who have multiple accounts and ofc with tomorrows raid coming up they’re none too eager to test it out atm.
rofl so what you are telling me is I cannot boost my own alts?? Can pay bots to boost me for 6hrs or boost myself for 3hrs? How is that fair?

Heh. Allow me to play “My Heart Bleeds for You” on the world’s smallest violin.
Is there any reason all of your accounts need to be linked to the same e-mail and/or bnet account? Seems like it should be simple enough to use separate accounts for each account. Unless there’s something I’m unaware of… never really looked into multi-boxing.
I feel for my fellow Feral Druids, though… the MCP farm just got more painful.
? Why should I have to keep them under different e-mail addresses to work around something blizzard put in place? Are you a dullard? I have 3 accounts under one e-mail address, what difference does it make to you if I am signing in under 3 e-mails or 1 e-mail? All the gold farmers have 464737362352 e-mails, the people that are legitimate have ONE. This problem SPECIFICALLY TARGETS NON-BOT NON-GOLD FARMERS. AND YES, FERAL DRUIDS HAVE A CRAPPY DAY BUT ME ONLY BEING ABLE TO RUN 10 INSTANCES WHICH IS 2 LOCKOUTS IS UNACCEPTABLE WHEN I AM PAYING $45 DOLLARS A MONTH.

just few weeks ago multiboxers were writing essays on why it is acceptable and why people should just deal with it. how the tables have turned. haha

It’s acceptable because it isn’t against the TOS. It is STILL NOT AGAINST THE TOS. This change SPECIFICALLY TARGETS PEOPLE THAT HAVE MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS UNDER ONE E-MAIL ADDRESS. Anyone that is farming gold or botting has ALL OF THEIR ACCOUNTS UNDER INDIVIDUAL THROWAWAY E-MAILS SO THAT THEY CANNOT BE BANSWEPT. IDGAF about the 30 daily cap, that is 6hrs of instance lockouts. That is more than enough for an individual. I AM PAYING FOR 3 INDIVIDUALS WORTH OF CONTENT. And to your rebuttal of “just quit,” you are right I probably should and will be canceling my non-main accounts within the week. I do have the option of starting up 2 new accounts under different e-mails, but I sure as heck don’t plan on giving money to a company that makes ridiculous decisions that only hurt people that are playing by the rules already.
Dude you type like a serial killer… all caps inbetween, seemingly random
rofl and you’ve never parsed higher than purple in MC
well and you do not like bananas irl.
This should make as much sense as what you said.
All I hear is ‘wah’.
It sounds like you’re gonna have to adapt, now doesn’t it?
You are right. I am crying on the forums. Just as a person should when there is something that is disproportionately affecting a subset of people. You don’t care because blizzard isn’t messing with your money, they are messing with mine. Easy to call the wahmbulance when a change doesn’t affect you at all
It does affect me. I’m just choosing not to let it bother me.
ok sure guy, you have a nice day now
Not against the TOS =/= green light. They’ve said multiple times that it isn’t against the TOS but that it’s also NOT SUPPORTED, that means, that if you get your accounts hacked while MB’xing, lose your stuff, or Blizzard retroactively adds new regulations to that specific activity, you’re screwed.
That’s not in their TOS and isn’t clearly outlined anywhere accessible through normal means. In fact, when I contacted Blizzard support before I even started multiboxing I was assured quite well that “blizzard understood the investment in multiboxing is very large, and wanted to assure me that as long as I met their TOS everything would be just fine!” Which I have done. They’ve simply changed their terms. That’s a bait and switch, so yeah i am rightfully pissed. Like I said earlier, though, I can just cancel the subs it doesn’t really matter to me long term. I was just trying to raise a couple alts before AQ
Can enter 30 instances on my wow1 and 30 instances on my wow2, same email. same battlenet account, just different sub.

No clue. All my accounts are completely compartmentalized from each other.
