Is my laptop's graphics card too old for WoW now?

Discrete GPU: NVIDIA GeForce MX250
Onboard GPU: Intel Iris Plus Graphics G1

The TWW system reqs say the minimum is a GeForce GTX 900 series… I think those are desktop cards? So I don’t know how to interpret them for my laptop.

Tried the install and the game failed to start due to a graphics error.

I think my laptop checks out in terms of the other specs. Intel i5-1035G1. 8GB RAM. Nvme SSD with plenty of room. 4-5 year old laptop I think.

The MX250 was always kind of below the nVidia standards. Above basic Intel integrated graphics, but below actual gaming cards.

In terms of required - that’s what Blizzard will support. Often things run, not ideally, but they run, below that level.

What it sounds like is happening is that it may not be handing off from Intel to nVidia as the game starts. Are you on the latest release of drivers for Intel AND nVidia?

It’s not on the supported cards list, but you may be able to get it working. However, the game and customer support won’t be able to offer assistance figuring that out.
