i am curious if blizzard will ever bring back medivh thats assuming hes dead which i think he is but im very curious as to what he is doing. But if he is in the shadowlands that would be amazing.
We see him, the real him, in Karazhan. I believe he is something described as an Eternal, though that concept may have been made non-canon.
Regardless, he seems to have transcended death. And if we do see him in the Shadowlands, it’s because he’s just the sort of being who can pop into it to say, “Hey how’s it going” and then leave to wherever he wants.

I really want blizzard to expand on this concept but this is something i fear they will never do.
As Canteloupe said, Medivh’s not exactly dead (though he’s not alive either). I wouldn’t expect to see him as one of the denizens of Shadowlands, although he might be visiting for some reason.

Medivh is alive. Aegwynn used the last of her guardian powers to resurrect him before Warcraft 3.
