Is Master of the Path still achieveable?

Hey all.

I’ve finally tried my hand at the Path of Ascension, and I’ve gotten to the point that I’m working on all of the Humility level bosses. But as I’m looking up tips and guides to help me through it, I’ve come to realize that what I’m seeing isn’t matching what the guides are showing.

See, I’ve realized that in Path, all of the mobs seem to have had their health nearly doubled without a corresponding buff to the Soulbinds’ damage. This seems to make certain Soulbind/Humility combos nearly impossible. Examples being: Spiders on Echthra no longer 1-shot by Center Hit on Kleia’s ability which makes the fight drastically more difficult, the new 13k HP Phylacteries on Thran-tiok now require 3 hits from Kleia instead of 2, Mekanikos can’t do enough DPS to take Mad Mortimer down before his enrage timer, etc.

Was this drastic spike in difficulty intended, or did something go wrong somewhere in Pre-Patch? Does anyone have any insight?

hey man! yeah there’s a bunch of scaling issue affecting all content introduced with the pre-patch (this is why they closed mage tower again, apparently). if you check general discussion there’s a lot of complaints about boss hp in old raids shooting up as well.

i’d recommend reporting it as a bug but don’t expect it to be fixed before you’re 70, sadly! (er, levels, not years. although maybe the latter…)

even if it’s not fixed i think your soulbinds are supposed to scale with your ilevel like most vehicles in the game so it might be better at 70 anyway, but i never got in the beta so can’t confirm. sorry, dude!
