It doesnt make much sense.
I dont mind Andiun freeing Sadfang but the contents of the video really dont make sense to me.
When did Saurfang spare andiun? I though it was the otherway around?
Saurfang wants his Horde back… which Horde?
The First Horde?
Thrall’s (& Voljin) Horde?
Garrosh’s Horde?
Sylvanas’ Horde?
Because out of that list only Thrall’s and very brief Voljin’ Horde seem to exhibit any sort of… decency? The rest are warmongering and genocidal organizations.
Why is the Alliance running out of troops? I though the whole point of the Alliance and their threat to the Horde is the fact that in conventional warfare there is absolutely no frigging way the Horde stands a chance.
So… now not only did we lose all of our ships but our soldiers too?
Honestly this whole animation while pretty did no favors for anybody.
Especially considering this is now 2 cinematics about the Horde and their conflict and how strong they really are. Right after War of Thornes, why not focus on Tyrande or Jaina? Surely they would have had something more interesting for us to see. Heck maybe Shandris!
So is this the worst cinematic Blizzard has ever made? I would vote yes.
EDIT: Mixed up the trailer names. My bad.
Every cinematic they have released for Bfa has been top tier. And Old Soldier was a great way to mitigate alot of the backlash from the Burning of Teldrassil (which we knew was coming for a while.)
I even would go so far as to say alot of the hate BFA has been getting is the result of people pretending that Teldressil was a bigger deal to them than it was, so they can treat the other players like trash, flame Blizzard and make posts like this.
braces for elf nonsense #capedcrusaders#flamingfists#sass#no
Also Lost Honor cinematic was indeed dumb. It showed Saurfang will only do something if he’s released by Anduin but not the PC/Horde Heroes. It further implies that anything Saurfang manages to do, it’ll be thanks to Anduin.
it is a good cinematic.
my problem with it, was the focus on the actual responsible of the burning, you know, the bad guys.
That cgi cinematic belong to tyrande or the nelfs, the actual victims.
Anduin has been spared by Saurfang every time he’s stepped within arms reach of him (when he was captured, and when Anduin visited him in his cell especially) And Saurfang loves pointing this out as much as Anduin loves giving this good faith gesture to the decorated Commander of the Ahn’Qiraj assault.
I was merely pointing out that Saurfang is behaving like this is the first time “His Horde” was out of line.
It seems his horde is an exception rather than the rule.
Some people have been saying that all the soldiers were outside and only the heroes and the Void Elf and Gnome strike force.
Honestly it is never mentioned if all of the Alliance forces were inside the city when it exploded.
They all escaped. Anduin ordered Gelbin and survivors to fall back to Brill before they went after Sylvanas. But lot of Soldiers died during initial blighting, they just melted. It’s also not only CGI depiction, Stormwind Harbor in-game was filled with coffins during Prepatch event.
I think it’s fairly clear what he’s referring to. The so called “New” Horde, that which Thrall founded and ruled for seven years. With the addition of the year Vol’jin ruled, that means for 8 of the 13 years the modern Horde’s existed, it’s been run by the values that Saurfang holds.
I have a question- Is it really not clear which Horde Saurfang is referring to, to you?
Plus Anduin specifically mentions having to call on farmers to replace them. If you go to Lordaeron there is also a fair bit of equipment (siege tanks I think) just abandoned maybe as far back as Brill.
<Anduin voluntarily steps within striking range of weaponless Saurfang while surrounded by all of the Alliance leadership at the ready, after catching beat a major beatdown>
Some Horde players absolutely loved it though.
And bare in mind this is the SECOND cinematic for the Horde.
But yeah… the real victim is the Horde here./s
I puzzled out what he meant but he was being hypocrite by conveniently forgetting Garrosh.
Lithya is trolling you, Tim. She professes that there is nothing good about the Horde and that there never has been, despite Word of God directly contradicting that.
